I rode down to Damascus from Whitetop in time for lunch in Damascus. Mojo’s is right next to the VCT and offers indoor and outdoor seating. I had a very tasty California Ruben sandwich and a coke for a little more than $10. Rested and fed l was well prepared for the return leg up the mountain. We are so glad you chose Mojo's! Thanks for the nice review!!! Next time you're in town, come for dinner!!!! WE look forward to your next visit!

Damascus Diner

Locally owned and managed small town diner with a wide menu selection of southern comfort food. Friendly, speedy service with a smile!

I'm only going to echo what other reviewers have said. This place is the real deal if you are looking for an honest, unpretentious place with very good food (the hash-brown casserole is exceptional) and service, this is it. Decor is decidedly downscale, but Damascus Diner is true to what it is.If you are in the area and hungry, do yourself a favor. GO.

Creeper Trail Cafe

We were so thankful to find this cafe on the trail. We were about 11 miles into our ride and it was past lunch time so we were pretty hungry. The food was good, it’s the basics and we were thankful. The grilled cheese was great but the onion rings were delicious. They have kids meals, hamburger, cheeseburger, popcorn chicken, or grilled cheese with a side of fries or onion rings for $5.50. The place was clean and offered outdoor and indoor seating. They have bike racks outside and although there was a line to order it went quickly.
