The town includes the northernmost point of Lower Saxony. It is situated on the shore of the North Sea at the mouth of the Elbe River. Cuxhaven has a footprint of 14 kilometres (9 miles) (east–west) by 7 km (4 mi) (north–south). Wir konnten bei sonnigen, aber recht frischen Wetter drauÃen noch einen Platz ergattern.Das Mobiliar ist schlicht, aber doch stylisch.Sowohl der Burger mit SüÃkartoffelpommes als auch Fish and Chips waren relativ zügig fertig und wir wurden per Beeper informiert.Geschmacklich war beides vollkommen OK und preislich kann man bei der Lage auch nicht meckern!!!

We ran in here on a rainy and windy night apparently shortly before closing time. We decided to sit upstairs for a little more warmth than near the front door. As we went upstairs, the downstairs waiter snidely remarked, âOh my colleague will be happy to see you.âThe waitress upstairs couldnât give me any recommendation for a vegetarian meal, so I picked the lentil curry. When I asked if there were any vegetables in there, she looked at me like I was stupid and said no, just lentils. When it came, there were actually also potatoes in it, and maybe a few slivers of carrots. It looked like a dogâs dinner. It tasted worse: heavily spiced but not flavorful. I would bet anything that the whole business came out of a can. I ate the potatoes and left most of the lentils. My daughterâs tarte flambée came heavily burned on the bottom. It was obvious that someone had tried to scrape off the burned part, which means they had noticed it was burned and served it anyway. The only good thing that I can say about this place is that we had a quiet comfortable table and thereâs a nice play area for small children.

am 17.09.2019 wollten wir mit unseren Gästen zum Kaffeetrinken einen schönen Kuchen und eine heiÃe Tasse Kaffee trinken. Als erste muÃten wir eine angeschlagene Tasse reklamieren, diese wurde dann ausgetauscht (von einem anderen Tisch weggenommen und die defekte dort wieder hingestellt) Den Kommentar spar ich mir mal. Dann bestellten wir unseren Kuchen. Die Ananas-Sahne war gefroren und die Sahne war alt. Die Schwarzwälder-Torte war mindestens drei Tage alt, die Sahne war grau und trocken. Aus den letzten zwei Stücken Apfelkuchen wurden ganzeinfach drei gemacht, Kommentar " nächstesmal bekommen sie ein Stück Torte ohne Berechnung" Dann wurde uns die Rechnung presentiert= 6 X 6,80 Euro. Das war ein schlechter Nachmittag. Wir werden hier sicherlich nicht wieder kommen.

Wir könnten bei schönen Wetter im freien sitzen. Sehr leckerer Kaffee und selbst gebackener Kuchen bei vernünftigen Preisen. Sehr freundliches Personal, wir kommen wieder.
