My wife and I stopped by "The Place" for lunch today. "The Place" just opened here off Peavine Road in Crossville, Tennessee. We each ordered the pulled pork sandwich because of the heavenly aroma that greeted us when we walked through the door.The juicy generous portion of pulled pork was served piled high on a fresh sesame seed bun. While the pork and bun were both very good, and the cole slaw was outstanding, it was the homemade sauce that made our lunch memorable - - a tangy tomato type, spicy but not hot, with tiny pieces of onion. Quite possibly the best sauce I've had in many, many years. We had a nice conversation with Ross, the owner, who also has a bakery there. He gave each of us a free cinnamon bun as a thank you for coming by. All this for ten bucks! The cinnamon buns weren't as big as the ones you'll find at the Cinnabon store at the mall, but the taste was every bit as good. We hope Ross will do well in his new business here - - we'll be repeat customers as well as anyone else who comes to "The Place".;

America's favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee, espresso, breakfast sandwiches and donuts. Stop by or order ahead with the Dunkin' App.
I was traveling over the Thanksgiving Day weekend and traffic was terrible on I40 so I got off and found a hotel in Crossville and then went in search for a place to eat. Not a lot of choices near the hotel but I did find a very new Dunkin Donuts. The place was new and clean and the staff was friendly. I tried to order several items but was told they were all out of bread and croissants. They did say they had some Kaiser rolls. I ordered the chicken salad on a Kaiser roll and was very disappointing. The Kaiser roll was old and stale but the chicken salad was fine. This Dunkin Donuts may be good if you get there in the morning versus after 7 pm at night.

Fresh made food, homemade pies & muffins, corned beef hash & Reuben sandwiches, gourmet burgers, breakfast all day.
New ownership as of a few months ago. Now open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We went for dinner. There were a few interesting items plus standard sandwiches & dinner items. I had crab cakes which were large and very moist, served on lettuce with a side. Husband had a sandwich. Both tasted good.

I wanted to like Sisters. The ladies were friendly, the menu sounded like good old fashioned food. The building is old and needs some sprucing up, but if the food was great, you could overlook that. It just wasn't though. Everything tasted pre-packaged, overdone and institutional, not home cooking as others have commented. Would not go back.

My friend and I stopped in here for lunch on our travels to Sweetwater, Tenn. Nice little place, good service and nice staff! I had the BBQ sandwich with fries that I wasn't over the moon about. It just didn't taste like a real BBQ sandwich. Kind of looked like it was mushed all together with very little flavor. I can't remember what my friend had, but I remember him saying it was good. I suppose maybe I should have had something else.

This is not only a sweet cafe, but 3 floors of quaint, boutique type shopping, with antiques on the top floor! Come for lunch and spent the afternoon shopping all in the same building. The Chicken salad crissaunt can't be beat. My husband loves the tuna salad.

We had the rice bowl with roasted pork and the wrap with pork, rice, black beans, lettuce, tomato and a sauce. Both were really good. The roasted pork melts in your mouth. A nice atmosphere decorated with care. Pleasant wait staff. Worth trying even if you donât know what Cuban cuisine is. You will like it. We will be back.
