It has a population of 328,689 according to the 2001 Census. It lies opposite its twin city, Resistencia, Chaco.

Junto al rÃo en la zona de la âNueva Costaneraâ correntina, tiene el plus de una hermosa vista de la playita y Puente Gral Belgrano.Local amplio con diferentes sectores para sentarse tanto afuera (más rústico) como adentro donde las mesas son más formales y con manteles. En otras ocasiones cenamos minutas (tortillas, milanesas, picadas), y quedamos bastante conformes no asà la última vez en que un almuerzo de domingo dejó mucho que desear ya que los platos (pescado al champiñón y lomo a la crema), vinieron con salsas insÃpidas, la carne pasada de cocción y las papas re-fritas, algo que he visto que hacen en muchos lugares y se nota en seguida en el aspecto y sabor.El lugar en sà es muy lindo, el paisaje inmejorable, trato correcto y precios razonables, pero creo que la cocina no tiene nivel para ofrecer platos más elaborados por lo que volverÃa sólo a tomar algo y/o por comida rápida.

The place is nice, the menu is original, but they don't pay attention and don't really care about your health. I'm allergic to coriander and told the waiter about it and still my order had coriander leaves on top... When I called the waiter and told him what happened, he simply smiled and said "that's bad"... I could have had a very serious incident which was avoided only because I'm always allert.

Hermoso restaurante café, en una casona vieja, con un inmenso patio lleno árboles frondosos que dan sombra. Mesitas de colores y una decoración vintage, hacen de este lugar un remanso de paz, ideal para quienes buscan escapar del bullicio de la ciudad. La carta de comidas, trae una selección de platos del dÃa, exquisitamente elaborados. La carta de tartas y tortas, con más opciones, pero preparadas con el mismo esmero. Atendido por sus dueños, todos muy amables, te hacen sentir como en casa. Recomendación, hacer reserva.

Para un desayuno rapido excelente el cafe y las medialunas! O para llevar, tambien tienen chipa, recien hechos, porque los hacen alli, pero no los probe.

Es un local grande, muy bien ubicado sobre la Costanera, con una ambientación clásica. Las mesas están bien separadas entre sà lo que le otorga comodidad y privacidad. Excelente atención por mozos profesionales. La comida cumple y nada más. Comà surubà a la plancha pero luego lo comà mejor hecho en otro lado. Precios adecuados arrojan una buena relación calidad-precio.

We had a late lunch here upon arriving in Corrientes. It was the only place open at that time of day but I had a really good chicken sandwich on some excellent bread. We returned a couple of days later and had the avocado toast with juice and a latte which was very good

I ordered a coffee with milk (café con leche) and a ham and cheese sandwich (tostadas de jamón y queso). Menu said 25 and 50 respectively. The bill came out to be 45 and 75. What should have bee 75 turned out to be 115. Not sure how they got that number but for a small sandwich and a small coffee I was surprised as this place is listed as cheap. $10 CAD or $7.50 USD. Wow! It should be more of a $$ than a $. Beautiful atmosphere though.
