We were driving by and decided to stop here, rather than going to Starbucks. It's a terrific little spot. The staff are warm and friendly and the lattes were excellent. It's a small but busy little spot. It seemed like it was frequented by locals from the neighbourhood, and had a great feel about it. We'll be back.

We're a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means "the daily bread" in French, and like our name suggests, we're bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we ser
This bustling bakery in the middle of the Fashion Island shopping center offers a variety of bakery products, plus sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfast items and a very good coffee, including a variety of espresso-based hot beverages. Prices are modest, especially considering the surroundings.

Bruegger's offers authentic NY-style bagels, perfect for a variety of fresh breakfast & deli sandwiches alongside salads, soups & custom-blended coffee. Breakfast & lunch catering are now available!
Brueggers is my all time favorite bagel place so when in California last week we stopped at the Corona del Mar location. What a gorgeous spot! We grabbed a table outside, ate our breakfast and then walked down to see the ocean. This location was really busy but the staff moved like a well oiled machine. People did not have to wait in line long and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend!

We are local little spots that have became one of Orange County's favorites for elevated comfort food. We are just-off-the-beaten-path restaurants that are low key yet deliver a BIG gastronomical punch with our dishes that combine American comfort food wi
One food adventurer and one less so wandered into this place just off of Newport Blvd on 18th street. They had something for both of us at breakfast, I had the "Fried Egg" and expected the items to come deconstructed on the plate...nope they were stacked but it was good. My friend had regular food and the potatoes looked sort of bland being so lightly cooked. I would go again and try some other items on the menu. Keep up the good cooking and pleasant service. Think about adding some sound proofing on the ceiling please.

The Galley Cafe is a staple of the Newport Beach/Balboa area. Being off the beaten path doesn't keep people from finding it or returning for great, home-style cooking and wonderful service. When you visit during the popular eating times there will be a wait for a table, but there is a large bench outside for that purpose. Everyone tends to chat while waiting so the time passes quickly. Parking can be a challenge as well but if you're serious about getting some great food, you'll figure it out.

My retirement group made lunch reservations here after our Sherman Library & Gardens tour. This was mostly for the convenience. What a lovely surprise. The food is wonderful. There were six of us that day. It's a small menu of excellent dishes. They have a non-dairy, vegetarian soup daily. On our visit it was asparagus. It was very tasty. There is a lovely composed beet salad which I did not taste but it got good reviews too. I added the house salad to my entrée for an extra $5. It is chopped butter lettuce with a chiffonade of basil and balsamic dressing. The entrees ordered were a sautéed Dungeness crab cake on an herbed risotto and a yuzu sauce, braised short ribs bourguignon, and grilled salmon on romaine with tomatoes, olives and peppers. The presentation of everything was beautiful. I think the portions were perfectly sized. The salmon looked amazing but I didn't taste it. I tasted the crab cake but crab is not my favorite anyway. It tasted a little fishy to me. I ordered the short ribs. Oh my gosh! I wanted to lick the dish. These were cut-with-your-fork tender pieces of meat on a bed of pureed parsnips with baby carrots in a decadent bourguignon sauce. None of the sauce was wasted. I used bread to sop up every last drop. Pure ambrosia. The prices are a little high but not for the quality and the area. We couldn't have gone anywhere close for less. Café Jardin is worth the price of admission to have lunch in a beautiful setting with convenient free parking. Definitely worth the trip.

Our Corona Del Mar location is an evolution of our concept. It combines the cafe with the market and provides both options under one roof. In one experience, we offer our fresh market salads with the traditional cafe menu. We offer Dine in, Take out, Happ
