Sainsburys have reached a new low removing the serviced cafe. Self service machines have replaced the hand made coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful and the toasted snack we had was to a good standard. You can get cooked meals here, so there must be a chef on site.
We go to Kingsgate at least once a month for my son's favourite paninins , they are really nice, big portions with salad on the side. Excellent customer service, very friendly staff. Fab spot for lunch.
This café opened not long ago and I've become something of a regular visitor on my lunch break! Really handy to the train station and seems to be popular! I absolutely love the decor inside. It's really bright and airy. Comfy seats. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Good selection on the menu: breakfast sodas, sandwiches, baked potatoes, quiche, pie, salad.... (I recommend their vol au vent and salad) All food very fresh. Selection of pastries too. Hot drinks (mmmm cappuccino!). Cold drinks. Slushies. Chocolate. Crisps. Plenty to suit everyone. Prices are keen so not an expensive stop.Highly recommended - I'll be back v soon!
We've become fairly regular customers to The Bakewell in Applegreen. Have only ever went for the coffee plus muffin deal, but well worth it. Cappuccinos are always perfect. Usually a v good selection of muffins available, all of which are fresh and tasty. Nice bright comfortable seating area.

I nipped in to get a sandwich and a coffee in a rush one evening. Sarah Jane and Caroline were so nice, one made the sandwich and the other got my coffee just to quicken things up. They could easily have turfed me out as it was very close to home time but they were very chatty and pleasant. Chicken salad baguette and latte was lovely -- even if I did have to eat it 'on the move'. Will def stop here again. Thanks ladies!

Iâm glad I took a turn off the main high street and chanced upon this delightful place. After walking past all the usual chains it was good to find somewhere that had clearly had a lot of thought, attention to detail and love put into it. A tremendous array of speciality teas and a small but nicely crafted food menu. Staff extremely welcoming and friendly.

Great breakfast and excellent service. Set just off the main square (the diamond) itâs well worth the amble. We got the Irish breakfast with potato scone and soda bread and it was excellent and plentiful. Great pot of tea to wash it down. From looks of menu they also do some excellent lunches too. Would thoroughly recommend.

I popped in with my two kids as one of them was hungry and it was right beside Dunluce Castle, where I wanted to get some photos of them. The service was prompt and polite, and the raspberry roulade was amazing!! My youngest devoured a beautifully presented cheese and ham sandwich, while my eldest enjoyed her cup of tea. This wasnât my first visit here, and it certainly wonât be my last.

This little cafe/restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is excellent here. The location is quiet and youâll never have a problem parking. While Iâm happy to give 5/5, itâs worth noting that seating is limited at times. You might not always get in, especially on a Saturday morning. On the few occasions Iâve been there, the moustached gentleman manager, who is clearly a very nice guy, also seems intent on explaining the specials menu to the Nth degree. The specials are already written on the board. In great detail. Just take the order. We know itâs going to be good!
