The Kornerstone Kafe is a charming, good 'ole home cooked meals restaurant. The staff is friendly and efficient and all meals are reportedly made from scratch. Wednesday is meatloaf day and for $9.49 you get a generous portion of made from scratch meatloaf with the traditional internal ingredients of onions and green peppers, along with two sides. I always opt for the fried okra and the mashed potatoes and brown gravy. The mashed potatoes are made from real potatoes as evidenced by the presence of chunks of potatoes. This meatloaf dish is one of the two best meatloaf dishes in Haywood County. All deserts are made on site and are of generous portions. It is hard to be disappointed at the Kornerstone Kafe.

As indicated by listing: âgood for breakfastâ not at all. Mainly pastries. No real breakfast food. Coffee was pre-prepared and sitting in pump carafes, not too hot. Taste and flavor on point. Not too cozy actually a little stuffy. More for business. Med. latte 12oz- almost $5. Probably one of the best lattes I have had. Good for a quick to go cup.

There were 13 of us meeting here for the first time. Everything from fresh made crepes, yogurt parfait, muffins, bagels and all types of flavored coffee, not to mention the homemade milk shakes, malts and and fruit smoothies. Everyone enjoyed their food and beverages. We were quickly served our orders and had plenty of time to sit and chat. There is free wi-fi, tv's and even a couch to just sit and relax with deliciousness. I will definitely be back.

This is a lovely small wine shop with delightful staff. They host wine dinners periodically and they are fantastic! I almost don't want to let this secret out, but can't help it. Jackie is a very talented chef and all the food she produces is art - lovely to look at and even better to eat.Thank you Andrea for your lovely words.
