Being in Clunes for a special occasion (my birthday), it was time to enjoy the delights of Quigley and Clarke! We started with scallops (delicious) then I had the vegetable tagine and my partner the tuna (both excellent) followed by fruit crumble (yum). All the meal accompanied by Mad Maggie's Brut. Though the menu changes regularly, you can choose anything on the menu and be sure of a delightful, tasty offering.On a chilly evening this is the place to be, with a fire and upbeat atmosphere. Clunes is fortunate indeed to have Quigley and Clarke!

This is both a café, coffee shop and an old lolly store.We did not dine here but the fresh sweets looked divine.We spent some time in the old lolly shop and our group purchased a few items.

Wait staff rude and didn't care. unfriendly. didn't even know what the house wine was and couldn't be bothered finding out, would only sat it was local. Given there are plenty of wineries in the region it could have been anything. Food was very average which I suspect had been frozen then reheated. The beef burgers were raw in the middle. Fish had very little flavour. It used to be good a few years ago. Now it's on the a never to return to list unless it changes hands. There are 2 other cafes in town that are far better.
