The service was slow although the restaurant was not crowded. We waited several minutes to be seated as several waitresses buzzed by, without even a Hello. Food, however was very tasty and interesting. Local eggs from local farms. Home-made jellies and jams. Would rate a 5 if customer service was better. Very economical.

This was our first visit to PBD and it wont be our last. Veggie soup was delicious. My wife had the one egg breakfast special while I had the three egg breakfast burrito. Great coffee. Order at the counter, leave your nsme, pay at the register, and they bring it to you. It's a busy place and I've seen Jerry Garcia's face more than once so methinks the owner is a Deadhead. 70's albums in plastic on the shelves brought back many memories.Thank you for your time and review, methinks you might be right

A relatively new establishment in Clemson's complex, this small wine bar has a surprisingly complete wine list featuring mainly French, California, and New York wines. Hopefully in the future they can find some from good local vineyards. Cheese and meat trays as well as wine flights or simply by the glass or bottle are on offer. Prices are a little steep for the area but not out of line for the type of restaurant. The staff is attentive as well as informative and will guide the novice wine drinker without seeming to be condescending. Wines by the glass are either 2 oz pours or 6 oz (I think) glasses. For a flight you can pick as many wines as you want to sample and you'll get each one as a 2 oz pour for the stated price on their wine list. We had a flight with two white wines, a flight of 4 rose's, and a meat and cheese tray (2 meats & 3 cheeses, pretty small servings of each) for just under $40. Definitely recommend for at least one visit.

This place is a Starbucks-like establishment located at the Inn at Patrick Square in Clemson, SC. We arrived at about 09:45 on a Friday and approached the counter. There were 3 people behind the counter and one turned and said "Hello" then went back to whatever it was he was doing. One person seemed to be making a breakfast dish and one was so engrossed in making a latte that he couldn't make eye contact. In any event, we looked at the display case at the muffins and other assorted pastries and then moved to the open counter area to order. Nothing happened. The one person remained engrossed in his latte making, and the other two continued with whatever it was that was so engrossing. All one had to do was say "Someone will be with you in a moment", but that apparently was too much trouble. We stood there several more minutes with no interest exhibited by the three people working there. At that point, since it was apparently too much trouble to acknowledge one of those pesky customer people, we left for another cafe. i know, the place is new, but a modicum of customer service would have been in order. We didn't expect them to drop what they were doing, but an acknowledgement of our presence after the initial "Hello" was in order. Since this place is attached to a boutique hotel, I wonder what the service will be like when Clemson plays a home game and the hotel is full.
