Things to do in Claremont
Oh yum. My first taste of this place was when we had sandwiches and rolls rought in for a working lunch at the office. I loved them so much I had to go there again for lunch a couple of days later. In both instances I had the tuna "club" sandwich. Absolutely delicious. Plenty of filling and great textures and flavours and the tuna wasn't overpowering. On the first occasion I also had a smoked salmon roll. The bread was divine and again the smoked salmon wasn't overpowering and blended well with the other elements in the roll. On the visit to the actual store I also chose to have a salmon pattie. That was also extremely tasty and enjoyable. Really love the food from here and I will also point out that I don't normally like or enjoy "bought" sandwiches but I make an exception for these. They are awesome. Definitely go there again and thoroughly recommend

The Academy Claremont is a consistent winner with its decent range of options. I think what makes it is the management; as all of the staff are on their toes all of the time, and mostly with big grins. The 'main meal' type of option prove to be the best fare, and, while pricey, are essentially gourmet. The coffee is excellent, and the pastries and cakes also lovely. I'm not keen on the buns-n-chips options, and I do not like the look of them, though they are hugely popular. On a hungry day you are not going to be thrifty, but for excellent casual dining I know of no other place nearby that I feel as welcome and comforted.

Visited Domain on Loch for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Service was very slow. Asked about the savoury muffins and told it had zucchini, tomato and cheese. Between the three of us we shared two and they were completely different. Lucky I wasn't a vegetarian as it contained bacon. The sauce that it came with was necessary as too was the butter as they were pretty dry. Drinks were ok. Low key suburban cafe. Overall the place was average. We all agreed we wouldn't rush back.

Popped in for brunch on Saturday. No seats inside so sat outside. Food arrived pronto and after I finished was asked if I would like another coffee. I said yes and the nice waiter took my card, swiped it inside the restaurant and returned it with a receipt. The coffee arrived soon after. You may be asking so what...but it saved me queueing up again and possibly losing my table. No wonder this place is as popular as it is and the prices are reasonable also.

We happened upon this hidden treasure by accident, tucked away down a side alley off Bay View Terrace. The staff actually like you, the coffee is good, the food tastes like it was meant to and the service is excellent. There's not much room on a cold and wet day, but there are plenty of tables outside once the sun comes out.
Had a lovely lunch! The dishes that were served at my surrounding tables looked amazing and very colourful. Will definitely go back to try more.

Iconic John Street cafe has changed significantly since my last visit and itâs very impressive. Menu with some very inspired Italian inclusions and in my opinion the best long black coffee in town. Renovation is beautiful and Iâm definitely impressed with the changes in the last year. A true local gem.

Cafe in King's Park. Open 7 days a week for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Cafe is nestled in stunning setting of Synergy Parklands in beautiful Kings Park. Ample free parking. Family friendly and great venue for group bookings. Takeaway available to enjoy
Great location and parking easy. Itâs a very noisy restaurant and you seem to rush your order as you line up to make your order and can only ask any questions as you pay.People are waiting to place there order so itâs a rushed and unpleasant experience. It is expensive for what you get and if your gluten intolerant not much choice or possibly âhelpâ with your order

Excellent meal but yet again sadly let down by the poor service. There never seems to be anyone directing the staff. Orders are taken, drinks delivered haphazardly, food just plonked on the table and all by different members of staff so no one knows if you are still waiting for food. This post will be a complete waste of my time. No one ever responds to constructive criticism.

During a trip to Cottesloe Beach, we made an impromptu stop at Vans for an early dinner. The restaurant is very well positioned in Cottesloe, and certainly had a buzz about it on the night we visited. It looks like a trendy restaurant. We did not have a booking, but the staff were able to accommodate us at short notice. Arriving early rather than during the peak time probably helped considerably. The food was nice and the staff were accommodating.
