We were at the Bongo Room on Milwaukee Ave. for breakfast. It was good but it didnât totally live up to the expectations that I had. My wife wasnât at all happy with the Veggie Croissant. My Chorizo Omelette was ok and the Cranberry Pancakes werenât noteworthy. Service was friendly and very good. The ambiance is fine too.

Went to West Egg with my son while visiting Chicago. it is very centrally-located. It is bright and open and the food is excellent. Our server, which I'm sad that I forgot her name, was so knowledgeable and personable. Food portions were big and everything was very fresh.

Charming historic brownstone serving delicious breakfast & lunch. Coffee Shoppe on lower level.
Off the beaten path but worth the trip to find it. Its a building from the 1900's that has been converted into a very cool breakfast place.Different types of egg dishes, waffles etc.. You can also sit outside and enjoy your breakfast. We went there twice - it was that good.

Yolk is a breakfast & lunch restaurant. We use top quality ingredients & fresh produce to serve the best breakfast in Chicago! (BYOB)
Everything you could want for breakfast and more. The five egg omelettes are frankly enough for a family but the French toast with granola, honey, Greek yoghurt and berries was sensational. Fast friendly and (despite todayâs shocking sterling value) great value

Since 1999, Lula has served locally sourced creative cuisine in a relaxed cafe setting from Chef Jason Hammel.
I have been a fan of Lula for many years. Finally, I write a review. This is one of Chicago's best. Great atmosphere, casual, yet professional service. The food is the reason to come. They have many staples that are long standing menu items like the pasta yia yia or the tangine. Mix in a daily menu with the freshest of ingredients and it makes for a tough decision what to eat. Very veggie friendly, if that is your thing. Also, great fish and meat selections. The outdoor patio allows you to watch the Logan square locals do their thing. A must dining choice in Chicago.

Nookies Wells is a casual, all American Diner Restaurant that is owned by the same family that owned its sibling restaurants since 1973: Nookies Too, Nookies Tree, and Nookies Edgewater. Our menu features all day a complete array of expertly prepared brea
My wife and I miss Nookies. Since we discovered this quaint and friendly neighborhood restaurant several years ago, we make frequent visits for breakfast or lunch. Located at 1746 North Wells Street in Chicago's historic Old Town neighborhood, it is like a home away from home, serving the kind of comfort food that we enjoy at home. The menu is comprehensive, something for everybody. But we have our favorites. Over the years, I have submitted review after review touting Nookies' fresh squeezed orange juice, the best and sweetest I have ever tasted, even in Florida. That may seem like a small thing but it always gets my breakfast or lunch off to a good start. "Fresh and friendly since 1973" is their motto and that's the way it is. For lunch, my favorite is a healthy bowl of rice and barley soup with a large tossed salad of greens, tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, cucumbers, onions and 1,000 Island dressing. My wife opts for either a Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries or a pulled pork sandwich that never disappoints. Most reviews praise Nookies' breakfast--and I certainly enjoy their Eggs Benedict--but lunch deserves its props, too.

Couldn't wait to try this place with my husband! Our wait was not too bad on a Friday morning. It was a beautiful morning & we chose to sit outside. We both ordered omelettes with a side of pancakes. I had the banana chocolate chip & he had the berry. It was truly one of the best breakfasts we had ever had! The service was also amazing! We would recommend & we would visit again. Nice to go to prior to after a visit at Millennium Park.
