Came here for lunch with the family, all had paniniâs though very nice, they were a bit pricey for a panini and salad, £8.50 I thought was a bit much. I was also given a really dirty glass which was a bit gross.. no worries, I just drank out of the coke bottle instead. Service was average also.

Whilst on holiday it was recommended that we pay a visit to Ferne and I'm so glad that we did. The staff/volunteers were so lovely and helpful and really seemed to enjoy answering the childrens many questions. We were so impressed by how much space all of the animals have and how well cared for they clearly are. We had tea and cakes in the cafe which were delicious. We loved it so much that we didn't want to leave! We will definitely be returning as often as possible.

The Secret Garden is not only affordable, it's comfortable, and full of so much character, you half-expect the cutlery to start singing "Be Our Guest" throughout your stay there. The staff are warm, approachable, and right proper wizards in the kitchen too; They're your new favourite Harry Potter characters in an apron -- because they rewarded this ginormous appetite with a cheese omelette so big, I'm actually choosing to skip dinner for the first time in my life tonight! They don't make colourful places like this anymore, and it's somewhere nice you can point your friends to the next time they complain there's nowhere exciting to meet in Chard. :-)

This establishment will provided amazing traditional Portuguese food, beer and desserts, most of the individuals that go there are from Portuguese origin so you will feel like you are in a different country, I love personally because it reminds me of home but I took my girlfriend there and she loved it due to the fact that the food and drinks were superb! Great job done by Saravais, the restaurant is the place to go!!

Coffee Shop Restaurant nestled in the grounds of Chard Garden Centre. We serve light lunches, homemade cakes, tea and coffee.
Needed somewhere to go for late lunch, the potting shed was open.Nice toasted sandwich with salad and a good salad dressing.I'd would recommend to go there plus you have the gardening centre to have a look around along with the shop.If I was being very picky, the only thing is that we were not asked if we wanted sauces e.t.c... but it is a lovely place to stop off to meet up in general. We are glad you found us for your lunch and pleased you enjoyed your visit. Please always ask if you are ever in need of something extra for your meal such as sauces, we are always happy to help! We hope to see you again.
