Reviews on Cafe food in Chaguanas, Trinidad, Caribbean. The Borough of Chaguanas is the largest borough (83,516 at the 2011 census) and fastest-growing town in Trinidad and Tobago. Located in west-central Trinidad, south of Port of Spain, north of Couva and San Fernando, named after the indigenous tribe who originally settled there, it grew in size due to its proximity to the Woodford Lodge sugar refinery. It remained a minor town until the 1980s when it began to grow rapidly as it drew people for its bargain shopping and moderately-priced housing. However, its rapid growth has seen property values increase dramatically.

My first experience at Bisou Bistro was indeed memorable. One can anticipate beyond first-class culinary expertise at an affordable price! I am impressed at the high quality of service, concise but profound menu and quaint ambience. It is an unexpected breath of fresh air in the busy city of Tunapuna.

Really good grill food. Burgers are amazing. Teriyaki wings and sweet potato mash a must. Also love the cool vibe and outdoor feel.

They have lovely fruit smoothies, lattes, chillers and some small desserts. There is also a stationery and craft section. No parking though.
I had a morning flight and purchased breakfast from Maria's before heading to the gate. I ordered eggs and sausage. The order took long. I noticed other customers who came after seemed to have received their order much quicker than I did. The meal was basic; nothing special. The bread was ok, but dry. They should offer an individual mini butter with meals that include bread/toast. I also purchased a grilled chicken sandwich to take on my flight. It was horribly dry and not worth it at all.
