Visited Castlemaine for brunch and the North Kitchen delivered. The outside court yard is dog friendly and the atmosphere is peaceful. The staff are terrific and the chairs comfortable not like some places where they sit you on hard stools. But it's all about the food. And The North Kitchen hit the mark. Really well presented and it all proved to be as good as it looked. Breaky Rolls delicious. Great food at reasonable price. Be back for sure

Run, Rabbit, Run is a cozy environment, well-known for its excellent coffee and casual experience. The offerings are a yummy blend of comfort food and provincial fare, such as the local cider-braised, wild rabbit pie or, another popular favourite, their B
A cozy meeting place with excellent coffee, cakes, and light meals. We enjoyed breakfast here and were pleasantly surprised with the menu and tastes. Located right next to shops and tourist attractions, but somehow 'hidden' from normal traffic. A real gem this one.

Because it was an amazing autumn day with sunshine we headed up the stairs to the outdoor area. The food was tasty, well presented with good choices available- the wine and beer was also great. The service was good even though the staff had to negotiate the stairs for orders etc. Indoor area looked great as well - great alternative to pub food in the area.

We have been to Das Kaffeehas many times, and usually sit outside with our dog. Yesterday, (Sunday,)we decided to visit and sit inside to have brunch. The place was buzzing, people leaving and people arriving to fill the empty seats, almost immediately. There were plenty of staff to greet and seat visitors. We had menus given to us straight away, and our order was taken fairly quick. Our meal was quite fast, especially considering the place was full. Our meals were amazing, the goulash was delicious!!! Of course the coffee was fantastic, but we wouldn't expect it any other way, seeing as they roast their own coffee on the premises as well as sell it to many cafes around central Vic. The setting of this coffee house is beautiful, decorated with handmade booths and marble top tables... Surrounding an incredible chandelier in the centre of the room. Definitely recommend a visit here and congratulations to Edmund, Elna and their staff for creating a lovely, friendly and quality cafe.

OMG We drive from Kyneton regularly just to indulge in Luca and Danielâs amazing Italian food. The food is simple but magically divine. The atmosphere and the friendliness also keeps bringing us back. Itâs a tiny restaurant serving big, beautiful flavours. If youâve ever been to Italy, Origini will transport you. 5 flags
