Great place to see a tethered camel and to eat well in a place filled with hustle and bustle. Good value for money and straightforward Tunisian food

La Parenthese provided a welcome break from sightseeing in the Medina. It serves breakfast, lunch and refreshments all day. Very cozy and clean with beautiful stone arches. Staff are very friendly. Had a great lunch there, food is seasonal and Tunisian.

My husband and I came for a coffee and crape The waiter was so pushy and rude. Brought us a bill even before we finished the meal. Came back in 3 min asking if we paid. Then she stood and waited until we paid ! No one else ( We were the only European clients at that time ; the rest all Tunisian clients ) had that kind of service.
