This is a large, but relaxed and informal cafe a short distance away from the hustle of central Carnegie. Parking is easy, thereâs a tram right outside or you can wander down from the Carnegie train station. Itâs great for a Sunday morning coffee and is large enough to fit groups and solos alike, without anyone feeling cramped or overheard. Service is good and the menu is varied. I sat and chatted for a while with my companion and we were never rushed or felt we needed to move on. We enjoyed fruit toast when we first arrived, then when lunchtime came I had a fabulous Smoked Salmon Salad with added avocado - the salad was beautiful and generously served with salmon and avocado. My companion had Zucchini Fritters, which were also tasty. Coffee is great here. All in all Iâd recommend this place and wouldnât hesitate to return. Thank you.

Recently moved into the local area and Jake's has become one of our favorite coffee hangouts.Staff are very pleasant and efficient. The place is family run with parents often helping out at busy times.Coffee is great and very consistent in flavour. Food also is pretty good. There is a pleasant courtyard out the back which is heated in winter. The cafe can get very busy on weekends for brunch, so suggest you aim for before 1100.Well done guys, and good luck on your new cafe venture!

An afternoon in the sunshine drinking coffees and champagne, eating nibbles and cakes and watching our kids happily playing in and around the cubby house was pure bliss!Nature Boy is the ideal, child friendly cafe to visit for good food and coffee, great super friendly service, and a fabulous vibe. It is so well set up for children, and even has toilet training facilities in the bathrooms! If you don't want to mingle with the kids though, no problem! The cafe is almost spilt into three (almost four) distinct areas so there's lots of opportunity to have a quiet coffee too!As a group of mum's, we are already planning our next visit to Nature Boy!

Cute cafe on a busy shopping strip. Eager waiting staff. Interesting menu. Each dish had an interesting east west component. Had the chicken mambo salad. Nice passion fruit dressing. I found the serving to be too small to be filling.

We met here for a late brekkie.. as a group we had a combination of breakfast and lunch options.. the coffee was great, the food was great (everyone was cery happy) and the service was exceptional! For me the standout dish was the french toast a reasl speciality.. staff were very accommodating and good and recommending GF options for a friend.. this place could easily be 5 star with a little presentation homework..

Open for breakfast, brunch and lunch, this contemporary cafe in the heart of Caulfield offers a welcome reprieve from everyday life in suburbia. Owners George and Tait have previously operated and managed some of Melbourneâs finest restaurants and their e
Had an afternoon appointment with a specialist nearby so dropped in for a bight of lunch. So glad we did. The food was delicious and very generous in size. Also the service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend if in the area.

Roule Galette, after 10 years in Melbourne CBD, open another French Creperie in the vibrant Koornang Road in Carnegie. Enjoy a delicious French food; every thing is home made (guaranty without any processed food). The famous Galette from Brittany is Glute
Started visiting this place about a year and a half ago. Last visit was on Sunday 29th July. I ordered the pork sausage crepe (17 dollars) and my friend ordered the beef burgundy, which was on special (28 dollars). The crepe tasted okay, of average size. The amount of salad they serve you is more than the crepe. My friend struggled to finish the beef burgundy, which was tasteless and absolutely overpriced. It badly needed seasoning, salt and the red wine it was supposedly flavoured with. This place has gone down. Have coffee here if you must, but dine elsewhere. There is no point in having French staff if they don't smile.

It's nice to be able to review a cafe whereby no bad incidents happened. Lord knows, that's rare sometimes. It was quite by accident/chance that we came here. I saw something on Instagram from here that took my fancy, and wouldn't you know it, when we sat down to order, I couldn't find the picture again so didn't even order that (I know; screenshot it next time).Instead, I ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon on a potato rosti, pickled red cabbage and poached eggs and Harissa hollandaise. It really was good. MAYBE if I were to be fussy, I'd say the potato rosti was just a fraction over done, but that's splitting hairs. The staff were friendly, the food came out fast, and it was really good. They do sell little cakes and muffins etc to either eat in or take out. I must say, not all looked appealing, but there was a great variety. Parking could be an issue at busy times. The council seem to think that by taking away parks, it "beautifies" the street. Uh, not so much. But if you go for breakfast early enough, it's a good spot. I highly recommend eating here. The breakfast is all day and there looks like a good lunch menu as well. Perhaps that's what I'll go for next time!

My party of 2 arrived at about 10am on Saturday morning. While the place was packed, we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Service was friendly and prompt (we sat inside), food and coffee were great and we enjoyed our brunch. The presentation of the food was lovely. Will definitely visit again before I leave Melbourne!
