Fresh & delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner & catering, we're dedicated to keeping you happy in your Corner of the world.
I got a coupon for the Corner Bakery for 2 half items for only $6.99. Since I was staying in Oceanside at the Blue Whale on The Strand, I decided to check it out.It is located across the street from the Carlsbad Premium Outlet Stores. This cafe had lots of seating, very clean, extensive menu with great customer service. You order at the counter. I chose to get mine to go. I got 2 half orders of the same item. The Chicken Carbonara was excellent and there were 2 large separate servings. I would've paid the full $6.99 for one of the half orders. I was able to eat one and save the other for later.I would highly recommend giving the Corner Bakery a try. I will certainly will go back again.

In waiting to get the family together I had a bowl of cereal at home, so I only had a toasted bagel with cream cheese at Don's. Other members of the family all opted for the stuffed hash browns. There are three variations to choose from. Our grandson thought his was great and our son said his was so-so. The remainder of the family thought they were great. Parking is a problem, so be diligent in searching. We managed to find a spot about a half block up Coast Highway.Going there on the day before Easter meant that they were very busy. We were told it was a 45 minute wait and they were dead on in their estimate.Service was friendly but a bit stodgy. Not everything came all at once.

Dropped by after a walk looking for food and very pleased on our find, great but crazy big menu, food was huge and great value and our server was fantastic but the bus boy bringing water was a miserable guy and did not fit in. Overall great and would go back and recommend, still eating the leftovers 2 days later :0Thank you for bringing this to our attention, David. We will address this with our staff and hope to see you again soon!

I had Eggs Benedict and it was good, though I wouldn't get it again. And the coffee, that wasn't even fresh, was $4. Overall the food wasn't worth the price. However, they are dog friendly on their sidewalk patio, though you can't get any alcoholic beverages on that patio, so no Bloody Mary's with breakfast for us, as we did have a small dog with us.

Right on the main drag. Stopped for coffee. We needed a pick me up. Looks like they bake a lot on the premises, I was watching someone prepping a tray to go into the oven. They have a ton of pastries, cookies, etc. we didnât sample any food, but it looks like what was coming out of the kitchen was pretty good. Some locals were eating there so thatâs always a good sign. I love Carlsbad, so will definitely be back to cafe elysa.

I love this place! Itâs hard for me to eat breakfast anywhere else. The decor is cool beach vibe. Surfboards, surf photographs, & surfing videos are playing on the tvâs. Everyone is super friendly. Try my favorite, housemade turkey sausage and order their coffee cake instead of toast.

Came here for breakfast and ordered the special. It was the best! Grilled tomatos, bacon, avacado, an egg over medium on top of toast that had a yummy spread that brought it all together, and a side of rosemary potatoes. I will be back again. Highly recommend if your in the area.
