The Town of Carbondale is a Home Rule Municipality in Garfield County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 6427 at the 2010 United States Census. The town is located in the Roaring Fork Valley, downstream from Aspen and upstream from the mouth of the Roaring Fork River at Glenwood Springs. The town proper sits on the south bank of the river, at the confluence of the Crystal River. Carbondale's horizon is dominated by the 12,953 ft (3,952 m) tall Mount Sopris several miles to the south of town.

What a find! The gluten free blueberry corn cakes and crispy bacon, not to mention the bottomless cup of coffee.... we loved everything about the Village Smitty! Our waitress was attentive and kind. A real local gem!

A little off the beaten path. Wandered in for a "different" type of breakfast. We ordered the duck eggs, sausage, toast and King of Convenience egg sandwich; along with cappuccino and coffee. EVERYTHING was delicious. Server was unbelievable wonderful and accommodating. Flying later that afternoon, we took along the cubano sandwich (which they wrapped perfectly for plane consumption), and all of their baked goods

Nothing fancy here! And a great way to start the day. Itâs diner style with about 20 seat situated around the business end - the working kitchen area. Everything is cooked to order. The breakfast burrito, and the huevos rancheros are highly recommended! The coffee (was just ok) is self-serve. Terrific service, and recommended!

Stumbled on this cute sandwich wagon on my way through Carbondale. The panini I had was fresh and full of flavour! The lady serving was pleasant. Will come here again next time I'm in the area. Delicious!
