Fresh food, made fresh to order. Service is both counter (ordering) and wait staff (order delivery). Menu is broad for breakfast and lunch. Portions are good and prices are reasonable. Parking is convenient and easy in the parking lot. Note, it is located on the side of a strip-mall type plaza, so be careful not to miss it; look for the sign along the road. Overall, good experience and will not hesitate to return.

I met a friend from my Highmark days here for lunch recently. The Cafe was the same as I remembered. Excellent Greek salad. The lemon poppy bread was wonderful as usual. She lived her sandwich. Good food, good service, moderately priced. In the warmer months there is a nice patio where you can eat outside. Too cold now!

The Yellow Bird is located right in the heart of Midtown Harrisburg, and offers coffee and pastries, as well as very nice meals. They bake their own pastries, and their own bread, which is wonderful. The environment is pleasant, without being stiff of formal. The food is mostly healthy options of nice breakfast sandwiches, soups and salads, or sandwiches/wraps. The place has a nice, neighborhood coffeehouse sort of feel to it, relatively small and intimate. It draws a nice crowd. Service is perky and pleasant - as is the whole place.
