Iâve been to this restaurant for breakfast and lunch and Iâve gone in just for the delicious bakery goods. The cookies, cake pops and petit fours are all to die for! You canât eat just one. Not only are they delicious, but the baked goods are pretty too! The staff is helpful and patient while you make âtoughâ decisions! Thanks so much for the great review! It truly means so much to us all here at The Baking Grounds!

Iâve been here several times. Itâs literally my neighborhood brunch spot. The food is good, even maybe a bit bland. Definitely, safe. No strong flavors. The shrimp and great are my fav. Pancakes, French toast are good. I typically sit at the bar because I like conversing with wait staff. The staff makes this place fun. They are always lively and most of them make a good latte. Hi and enjoy.

We had our concerns when only 2 other people were in the restaurant but it had good reviews so decided to try it. This review is based on 5 peoples opinions/meals. All of us were extremely disappointed in the breakfast, this would have been true if the breakfast would have been free but omelets were $11-12. 3 of us got the Sunrise omelet with diced jalapenos, tomatoes, onions and cheese. There wasn't a jalapeno or tomatoe to be found in any of the 3 Sunrise omelets. One person got the bacon, ham and sausage, the bacon was the crumbles used in salads and even with that had very little bacon. The roasted potoatoes for all the omelet meals were cold and soggy despite it being 8 am. One person got the Steak & eggs, french fries were cold and the steak was tough and had no flavor. Thank you for providing us with this feedback. The experience you received is not representative of our Mimi's standards. If you wouldn't mind, please send us a private message or email [email protected] so that we can look into this further.

While making an overnight, unplanned stop in Buford, GA traveling north, we searched for a restaurant that was not busy on a Friday night!! Yelp came to the rescue and we ate dinner here which was near our hotel!! Such great food and service! The mushroom soup is hot & excellent as was my husbandâs French Onion! We both ordered the trio sampler plate with choices of salads and soups!! The chicken salad and Caesar were excellent and generous portions! A plus was the assortment of breads on a sideboard near the beverages with delicious jelly to eat as well!! A mini chocolate tart hit the spot as dessert! This is a locally owned restaurant with one other location I believe! I just wish we had one in N.C.!! After a long day fighting traffic, it was a light, delicious meal in a pleasant atmosphere!!
