Awesome little gem hidden away on the way the the light houseOne of our favourite places to stop for BreskfastAwesome menu, clean fresh food that is well pricedThey do have musicians playing later in the day that certainly increases the ambiance. Please give it a try, you won't be disappointed
We stopped for a mid-morning coffee after a drive around the Central Coast's northern lakes and beaches. The cafe was in the hands of two young women at about 11am. We ordered coffees and sat to read the paper. The wait was inordinately long as there were problems with the coffee-grinder. The traffic noise was imposing even with the door closed at this main road venue. We had time to observe a lot.1) The cleanliness of the venue. The place was in need of a good sweep and some dusting. No-one it seems had tidied the newspaper and magazine racks for days going by the dates on old newspapers and scattered magazines. The coffee tables and dining tables were almost all smeared and in need of a good wipe-down. The counter-top was cluttered and untidy ... all as though no one cared.2) Six and eight legged creatures. We were sharing the floorspace with a lot of live and dead insects and arachnids. Neither of the employees was interested in (or embarrassed by) the parade of cockroaches, ants, flies and spiders. (A spray with insecticide the day before at close-up time and a follow-up with a broom or vacuum-cleaner would do wonders.)My wife's soy flat white was good/average. My skim flat white was way below par.Service: 1.5/5Ambience: 1/5Food/Beverages: 1.5/5Cleanliness: 0/5Pricing/Value for Money: 2/5
Came here with family and one of the reasons for my 3 star review was the noise. You can barely hear each other as its all wood floors and just so noisy. Maybe consider putting in some rugs, rubber mats and other noise reducing items to stop the echo and noise.Food was a little pricey but was yum. I got a nacho mexican open toast which is one large slice of bread with fillings. Coffee was nice too.
Child and dog friendly cafe specialising in great coffee, homemade food and friendly service!
This is where you will get the best coffee on the coast. I have been to most cafes in and around the northern end of the coast but if your coffee is important to you - go here.

The zucchini slice & slaw salad were lovely. Tap water was available in disposable plastic cups only. The decor is frugal & rustic which is fine but the window tinting wearing patchy, the windows and particularly window sills are dirty and several tables stood with dirty used crockery and cutlery the whole time it took to take my order, fill it and for me to finish eating. Maybe they were unusually busy but it had been a long time between scrubs for the windows. Service was good.

Went for breakfast with the family. Coffee was OK but waited 10mins with only 2 other people there. Meals were average with the icy cold hollandaise making the whole meal cold by the time it was served. Had 7 meals ordered in 3 seperate transactions and the first ordered (kids meal) was the last to come out. Other friends who came in after us waited 20mins for coffee and cake. Will try them again but definitely need to look at their service and what's on in the local area for staffing reasons

My wife and I had breakfast here recently for the first time. Given I'm on a certain diet at the moment, I requested my breakfast a certain way, something I've NEVER done before, and was actually a little nervous about it to be honest! Wow! My request was NO problem at all! The female who took my order was more than happy to accommodate my request. This little cafe is on the Kams Court property (Pacific hwy) and can be a little hard to see if you don't know it's there. We'll be back!

I was recommended by a few friends about this restuarant, so we went to checked it out. To our horror, when we arrived we found the restuarant floor were very dirty, food scraps were every where. It was a hot day and flies were every where. Birds were flying in from outside to picked on the scraps. We sitting down and immediately we ordered our meals, because we were in expected to finish and leave the restuarant in hour after we had our lunch. We waited and waited. We even asked the waitress about our orders. After 45 to 50 minutes later, we finally got our meals. All in all bad service.

A relaxed cafe in the heart of Budgewoi. Located on the corner of Lake and Ocean St and a short walk to both (the lake and the ocean)! We make all meals to order and prep food daily. We have a small play area for kids and are dog friendly. A great outdoor
