Stopped here for breakfast and forgot to take photos. The food was amazing, hot, fresh and plentiful. I had the Big Breakfast, came with two eggs cooked to order, thick slab bacon, sausages and toast. My wife ordered the Toast BLT, enough sandwich to share.Ketta our server was very personable and attentive.

'Welcome to Lux Foundry! A warehouse cafe in Brunswick, serving lunch and all-day breakfast! Situated just off Sydney Road, Lux Foundry was once home to the Lux Oven Company. Now it's a roomy escape from the hustle of Sydney Road, with soaring ceilings an
Sunday morning breakfast at this Brunswick cafe located in a spacious warehouse.Excellent coffee and interesting, wide ranging menu options. Dishes chosen... the middle eastern breakfast and fritter/sausage special ...while tasty enough, were both a little clumsy with overdone deep fried elements and a lack of cohesion and just didn't have the finesse found in comparable cafes. Fairly priced and prompt, friendly service.

We randomly walked into this café while we were in Brunswick. The atmosphere is really nice. I tried the waiterâs recommended dish Baked eggs with tomato sauce. It was ok, the tomato sauce was a bit too tangy for my taste. My husband ordered the âMushroom Monsieurâ and it was really good, tastier than my plate. The latte was really yummy. One thing annoyed me though, there were lots of small flies in the place. This is really annoying when you try to enjoy your meal. Another thing is that there is no WIFI in the place, so itâs not a perfect place to sit and work on your laptop.

Constantly great food and coffee but very disappointing to hear that they do not have newspapers for customers to flick through. Would visit for breakfast but would go elsewhere for a morning coffee and crossword. Felt a bit cheated and would highly recommend they start stocking The Age at the very least

We enjoyed a very delicious brunch here this morning, from a small but interesting menu. The lunch & dinner menus also looked very interesting and I hope to get back here to explore the food offering further.Service was excellent, from the moment we entered until we left. My coffee was a step above the norm too.Well priced and a fascinating space, well worth the visit.

Previously known as Mudlarks cafe
I chose a beer and burger for my late lunch. The beef burger was well made with quality ingredients and the beer was at just the right temperature. Service was good and water was brought with the menu. My only "beef" was that the burger came on a wooden platter (with knife cuts) with a dagger plunged through it and the chips were in a take away coffee cup. I prefer a proper plate that can be washed thoroughly. The front door is narrow, but I suppose a wheelchair might fit, otherwise it is dine at the pavement tables.

My boyfriend loves the coffee here, but Iâm not a fan of everything else. Iâm not a coffee drinker, and the milkshakes are essentially just overpriced chocolate powder and milk. The breakfast food isnât great, and definitely overpriced for the quality and amount you get. However the atmosphere is nice as itâs a coffee brewery, and my boyfriend likes the coffee a lot (heâs a bit of a coffee snob).
