Went with another couple for breakfast. Came for the French toast and we werenât disappointed. Good size portions with delicious Challah bread. Nice they have real maple syrup available. Good menu options. Will definitely visit again.

Home cooked breakfast and lunch is a Montana tradition at the Pocketstone Cafe.
We only eat here during the car show, so it's super busy. But it's the only place open on Electric Ave for breakfast early in the morning. Nice to sit down. The staff is always very friendly, but the food has never been good for the 12 years we have been going there. Most in our party just have coffee. I hear if you have pancakes or the cinnamon roll that is a safe bet. But those of us that had biscuits/gravy and ham and eggs. Not good. Biscuits ok, but the gravy was bland. The side of ham was a half slice of something that looked out of a can and way too salty. The scrambled eggs were not done and still slimey. Plus they raised their prices. Realizing this is probably their busiest day, but still an 0 for 12.

We stopped off at Grateful Bread for a late lunch on a weekend in July. Even though the seating area was half empty and we ordered items that didn't require any elaborate cooking, service was very slow. Apparently, the cafe had only one wait staff member at the time. In addition, although there was a wide variety of items to choose from the menu, there were not too many options for those who have to stay away from gluten and pork. The items we ordered tasted OK but not memorable (turkey sandwich was pretty bland, and the sauce that came with oven baked fries was a bit too much on the sour side). Gluten-free bread, like most run-of-the-mill gluten-free breads, was very crumbly, and it was impossible to eat the sandwich unless one used a fork and knife. The peanut butter gluten-free cookies were overbaked and way too thick. All in all, a very average experience both food wise and service wise.
We were on way to Glassier National Park, looking for something to eat when we came across BUZZ N BAGELS. This is only a drive-through, but the food and service was outstanding. LOVED IT! If in the area, highly recommended. Basically service sandwiches on bagels. We had stopped for breakfast. We made a special request for just some eggs and ham and they were VERY accommodating. My bagel was so big, I only ate 1/2 and saved 1/2 for lunch.
