Love this place! The menu is so varied, although having said that I ALWAYS go for eggs and avocado, itâs amazing! Service is also brilliant and so warm and welcoming.

If I could give Cafè Sorella a rating higher than 5 then I would. Julie and her team work extremely hard to provide an adequate service for all customers, and you never leave without a smile on your face. Cafè Sorella offers a wide range of tasty cakes & bakes aswell as hot & cold food & drinks, including healthy options & gluten free. I highly recommend anyone in the local Gildersome / surrounding areas to pop in and give it a try, or even if just passing through the village - they offer a dine in & take-away service to fulfill everbodys needs and I can guarentee you will just keep coming back Thank you so much for your lovely review Joe!It's always a pleasure to see you :)Hope to see you again soon for more cakes and frappes ;)Julie

Wonât be going again. I Had the audacity to question that something I had ordered to collect wasnât available and was met by a torrent of abuse from what I would guess was the manager . She was obviously above any sort of criticism. . Took ten minutes to place the order in the first place as the girl who answered seemed to be having a 4 way conversation. All in all a nasty experience and will be the last time I ever go near the place . Wouldnât mind checking if the food was anything special but itâs overpriced and more often than that it is cold . Coupled with the dirty cutlery ( on previous experience ) and the uneven floor that makes eating your food a mission in itself . When you eat out you at least want basic good manners from the staff so with that in mind itâs a massive zero from me.
At Franklinsmiths we take pride & passion in serving fresh & good quality home-cooked food. what we offer.... freshly ground coffee freshly prepared sandwiches deli counter fresh bread & local free range eggs hot & cold food homemade savouries & pies fres
Wide range of reasonably priced coffees; sandwiches; salads and amazing cakes! Took me ages to try this place but can highly recommend the spicy chicken salad so fresh much better than âsubwaysâ. Hope this place stays open love that Morley has small independents like this letâs keep them going, shop local! Did I mention that the staff are lovely and friendly too always a bonus to see a smiling happy face.

Well we were wondering where to go yesterday (Monday 17/12/2018) afternoon for a coffee and perhaps a snack when we decided this would be a good place to go.Initially we thought oops! as they are serving Christmas dinners with people sitting with their crackers and hats on and we assumed that we were going to be unlucky for that snack. Well we were so wrong as we were welcomed in and given a table by the window. The menu arrived and everything was on as normal. As luck would have it their sausage sandwiches were not sold out (these can be in the afternoon) so we both ordered one. To say the sausages are good here would be an understatement as they are fantastic and if you get the opportunity get in and enjoy (before they are sold out). Alternatively they are also renowned for their bacon or even better why not ask for something with eggs as this is the place to come and buy your fresh eggs rather than the supermarket. Anyway enough of me going on this is a family run business and they give excellent service as we again found out yesterday. We ordered a portion of sticky toffee pudding and custard to share as we thought why not itâs Christmas. Unfortunately when my wife started eating it the pudding was on the hard side and had a lack of sticky toffee. We brought it to the attention of (sorry I donât know your name) one of the guys serving who I believe is one of the family members and without hesitation he took the plate away apologising as he went. He returned with a new portion along with fresh custard and it tasted like a dream come true. On thinking about it, perhaps the first portion might have been the last piece of an earlier pudding and the second potion was perhaps the first segment of a new one. The bit Iâm trying to get at, is that this is not the norm here and was a one off, being resolved to everyoneâs satisfaction without issue and you canât ask for anymore than that.So if you are passing through the Hightown/Liversedge area just off of Halifax Road, be sure to pop in as Iâm positive they will make you welcome (even if they are doing Christmas dinners :) )Well done to the staff and thanks for everything.Merry Christmas The Pattersonâs

My friend and I had breakfast last weekend sat in the garden at the back of the café. What a lovely spot. The service was excellent. The menu gave enough options for us both, it came presented very well and tasted delicious. We will both be back and we would both thoroughly recommend.

We are a delicatessen serving sandwiches, light meals and drinks. We also sells beers, wines, spirits (gin specialists), cheese and other deli products.
...at just how much is packed into this beautiful little deli. First of all, I have been many times for the hot and cold food, which is always top notch, as is the coffee. Everything is freshly prepared and lovely quality. Last week I pre-ordered a buddha bowl, which was very substantial and wholesome - good value at £6.50.Then there is the deli food selection. I love the range of cheeses, and you will also find cold meats, crackers, chocolate, jams, chutneys etc, tea, coffee...There is an emphasis on Yorkshire produce so it feels good to support local producers but these also make great gifts and I have had several bespoke hampers made up to give as presents. Michelle and Peter and the team put a lot of effort into making the packaging look fantastic and it always looks like it has cost much more than it actually has.Next, the back of the shop is full of the most eye-popping selection of drinks, notably gins of all descriptions with more types of tonic than you ever knew existed, but I have also bought soft drinks, beer, wine and prosecco - always great quality. The welcome at Ginger Whale is always friendly and the customer service is first class. The produce is well chosen and classy, but for all that the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend a visit. Thanks very much for your kind words. It means a lot to us to know that what we do is appreciated. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes but it's very rewarding when customers are pleased with what we do.

We have visited twice before and I left a glowing review but disappointed this time. From the beginning noticed tables were showing wear at these prices we wanted it to be more inviting. My husband ordered the hot beef baguette which he has had before this arrived it was smaller no onion gravy just gravy and raw onion also noticed no coleslaw, but he did get 5 chunky chip's and side salad. My other family members ordered the cream tea, 4 choice of sandwiches fillers 2 different cakes and 2 cream scones shame there wasn't any crisps or mini savoury quiches not worth the price. All in all what was supposed to be a lovely memorable afternoon was but for the wrong reasons.

Came here on a recommendation, and so, so very glad that we did. My other half had the Englich breakfast, whilst I had eggs benedict with bacon and black pudding. All that I can say is 'wow, wow, wow'. Absolutely fantastic. One waitress on tables, and she was doing a fantastic job. Some seating outside, also with waitress service (although we did chose to sit inside).Spotless loo! Oh, and they take plastic!!!! What's more to like????Hi HelenThank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Yes, sometimes the girls do have be on their toes but they always do a great job- thank you for noticing. So glad you enjoyed your food and we all hope that you will be back soon.Chelle and Team x

A hidden gem of an eaterie! Please note we are only open during the daytime throughout January 2016
Nice attentive staff and competitive pricing, generous portions of a good standard of food explains why the Gallery has the number 1 spot in Heckmondwike. There is a car park round the back and one at the front with free parking for 2 hours.
