We stopped by Kaffeine on our way through Bathurst to get some, well, caffeine, to fuel us for the next couple hours of driving north. This little coffeeshop isn't much to look at from the outside nor is the interior the type of inviting place for lounging around, but they have good solid coffee and a variety of things to eat. They made strong iced americanos and have wifi if you need it. If you need some good coffee while in the area, this is the place to go.

I found this cozy little place very nice, with a lovely selection of tea, cakes and sandwiches. Delightful atmosphere, quite charming, nice china and silverware. If I were staying here, I would return, but I must press on. They make proper Nanaimo bars.

Their strawberry banana milkshake is a must! Made with real fruit chunks it is thick and creamy and sooo delicious. Lots of hard ice cream flavors to choose from as well as soft serve. Staff are fantastic.
