Reviews on Cafe food in Bath, England, United Kingdom. Known for its restorative wonders, Bath was once the home of Jane Austen. Sure, you could attempt to conjure up this elegant city by reading Pride and Prejudice in your tub, but as Bath has a lot more history than your bathroom (we assume, anyway) you'd be missing out. A stroll through Bath is like visiting an open-air museum, with roughly 5,000 buildings in the city drawing notice for their architectural merit. After your stroll, soak in the natural hot waters of the Thermae Bath Spa, once a favorite of the Celts and Romans.

Sally Lunn's - The oldest house in Bath
This place was recommended by another bakery in Bath because I wanted to have the famous Bath Bunn. It did not disappoint. Very casual relaxed and cosy place. The staff are very helpful. I had a veg savoury bunn... it's good for a light dinner. I also packed a sweet Bunn which was absolutely delicious . There was a queue to enter but you can spend your time reading about the history and seeing the old kitchen below. Will definitely visit again for their other Bunns

Dropped by for a late breakfast, based on the TA comments and wasnât disappointed. I opted for a poached egg, mushroom and spinach on an English muffin (just one egg, with the Hollandaise on the side). The ingredients were fresh and of good quality, and prepared with care. Very tasty dish at a correct price. Wouldnât hesitate to visit again.

We called in for breakfast early one morning to this delicatessen/café. It seemed to be very popular with locals. There is a seating area at the front and a larger area to the rear.We wanted toast for breakfast which wasn't on the menu but the gentleman was very obliging and made it for us.We enjoyed good quality coffee with some very nice toast all at a very reasonable prices.

Cosy up in our recently refurbished cafe or wrap up and sit outside in our heated courtyard. Quietly situated a stone's throw from Bath Abbey, (just off Abbey Green -side entrance to Marks & Spencer). We pride ourselves with our warm and friendly service
I chose Courtyard cafe because it was busy, convenient and the menu looked good and the waitress appeared friendly. I waited to be served as the couple before me had been. if they had taken a drink order that would have been fine. I appreciate she was on her own but did not appreciate her response or hearing her say audibly to another customer that I was rude. Which I was not!

After a very early wake up and long journey to Bath we dropped our bags off at our hotel and went in search for a good breakfast. Thereâs a few restaurant/cafe chains near by bit we opted for the local looking establishment hopping for good local fare. And we were not disappointed. Food was good, portions generous and friendly staff. All in all exactly what we set off to find. One small criticism, the place is a little cramped, waiters bumped into me on a couple occasions. But no biggie.

We have a delightful and attractive farm shop and cafe situated in the picturesque Duchy of Cornwall village of Newton St Loe. Our business has developed around our home produced beef, lamb and pork, all of which are on sale in our shop and cafe. We are a
Popped in for 2 x regular cappuccinos and 1 x millionaire shortbread - paid £9.05! A nice place and no other issues, but the pricing seems overly top-end. I was considering a bacon sarnie, but at £5.50 decided to pass. Weâll only visit here intermittently at best...Thank you for your thoughts, however I am surprised to read that you think we are expensive. We have to charge enough to stay in business and to pay for the very best ingredients as that is one of our fundamental principles. In your case, the very best coffee, ethically grown and imported, roasted and ground in Bristol, and local, organic Jersey, non-homogenised milk from a small family dairy herd recently prized for turning their cows out to grass more than any other in the South West. The Millionaire shortbread is made here on site by hand, and as I am sure you are aware takes a very long time to make, being in 3 stages. As it is home made we can ensure again that only the best ingredients are used and definitely no palm oil as in most manufactured copycats. In fact locally i have struggled to find many others even making this by hand and on site as we do.On top of the best ingredients we of course have all the overheads that have this year gone up substantially, such as labour, pensions, electricity, maintenance, repairs, water, cleaning, rent and rates. Not surprisingly however, when we check amongst other similar independents in this area, we are charging very similar prices, and in some cases less.We really hope that you do visit us again at some point and thank you for putting your thoughts on this forum and enabling me to put the business owner's point of view.

Great Italian food, low prices, independently owned.Waiting staff must be very fit as kitchen on 3rd floor.Toilets on 2nd floor so not suitable for those with very young children ( also not much space for them) or mobility issues. A few tables on the ground floor.Buzzing when we visited. Thanks very much, love this review. x
