I heard about this cafe from reviews on another site. I did miss the entrance and had to double-back. The coffee was very good and the menu varied. They have a number of vegetarian meals, which suited me. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Looked good from the outside, with a good crowd for a Tuesday morning. The prices are reasonable for the serving size. I liked the pancakes, my wife said hers was a little doughy in the middle. The maple syrup was good quality, the fruit was fresh and also good quality. Coffee was good.

Limited menu for gluten free treats but the gluten free pancakes with mixed fruit, maple syrup & cream was good. Service friendly enough. Toilet in a poky hole in the corner was certainly not wheelchair friendly. Indoor and outdoor tables and chairs available and a delightful view for anyone sitting on waterfront side.

This was a fantastic find. You can eat inside, which is very pleasant or you can eat outside in the sun or shade. ABOUT THE FOOD: the food is great, always taste fresh and freshly made. I love the vegie burger on turkish bread and I would highly recommend, the steak sandwich and also hamburgers are alway delicious and all are reasonably priced. The coffee is the best in Batemans Bay, have with a freshly home made piece of cake or home made scones jam and cream. ABOUT THE SERVICE: the service is great, orders come out quite quickly without any fuss and always exactly what you order. ABOUT THE STAFF: the staff are always very cheerful, courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend the BAY BLUE CAFE.

The soul burger was tasty and wholesome. The nourish bowl had some excellent ingredients, notably the pickled beetroot. The dressing of roasted carrot-miso was a good accompaniment as were the spiced beans and charred corn.
