The prices are too high. They probably need to charge a lot due to the labor and price of material, and they can get away with them, but go down the street to Freshies....
Located in Central Bar Harbor this establishment is best described as being a bit rough around the edges currently but will evolve over time..One thing that cannot be disputed is the quality of the food, my Panini was good and thick with the filling depth so big the bread struggled to keep it in check. My wife had the clam chowder, from her silence means that it was good and well received. This independent produces very good quality food, ideal for a quick stop during a hectic days sightseeing
In today's world, there are plenty of fast-food options but not so many fresh food options. At Take A Hike Cafe, we provide meals, drinks and snacks that will nourish your body and your soul. We specialize in deli sandwiches but also offer a variety of ot
My old time favorite was two cats, but when the old owner Earnie opened Take a Hike I switched and will never go back. I have been there four times now and each time order something different. You can beat this place. They will pack your lunch to take a hike in the parkMarc Rich
Locals come to the Flowered Apron because Karen's reputation precedes her. If you love buttery goodies baked to perfection, then you'll love Karen's treats. Still waiting for a gluten-free, dairy-free option, but the fudgy kisses are a sinful chocolatey choice for the gluten-free in your group.

I really hate to even write this review because this is always been my favorite place to come for breakfast in Bar Harbor. We ordered the pumpkin pancakes that we get every year and it was so disappointing that they were different they used to be thick and full of pumpkin spice flavor and they were thin and rubbery and didnât have all the flavor they used to have. Iâm not sure what is changed but it was so disappointing we took a whole family there thinking this is going to be a real treat for everyone and It wasnât terrible it just wasnât the same quality it used to be.

serving breakfast and dinner, considered casual and fine dining. Large breakfast menu, and eclectic dinner menu.
This is perhaps the greatest restaurant name ever coined. Beyond that, this place just plain rocks. The atmosphere and menu is boisterous-eclectic with a dash of funk and chaos. It's at the end of an alley, and you can always tell where it is, not only because of the great sign (a pointing finger) but also because of the line that typically forms and flows out into the street. And it's worth waiting in line for! The food is wonderful (and the portions are often enormous), and the service is just great. My wife and I ALWAYS go here when we visit, and we've never, ever been disappointed. If someone asks where the cafe is, just say, "It's over there," and point. Or, better yet, say, "It's This Way," and lead them over and get in line. Just wonderful. (We last visited in September of 2018, but the drop down wouldn't let us select that date.)

Everyday Joe's is a casual restaurant offering breakfast, lunch & dinner prepared quickly by our friendly staff. Baked goods, breakfast items, soups and sandwiches all prepared fresh and with quality ingredients.
Would definitely eat here again! Good selection for breakfast and place was very clean. Also had a gift shop that was unfortunately getting ready to close. Prices were great but it was pretty cleared out when we were there!
