Find out what Cafe restaurants to try in Baden-Baden. Nestled at the foot of the Black Forest in South Germany, Baden-Baden is a chic destination for those who fancy a dip in its famous salt- and radon-rich thermal hot springs. The town has been a popular destination for so long that it's starting to show its age, but not to worry. It's still very classy, picturesque and well-maintained. (The Dame Julie Andrews of German spa towns, if you will.) Sporty types will find an abundance of opportunities to enjoy golf, tennis, horseback riding and skiing nearby in winter.

The selection of fish was fantastic in this place - we opted for the huge grilled prawns which were fabulous. Unfortunately the service was pretty horrendous, very sharp, quite unnecessarily as I was practicing my best German at the time! It's not as though they were so busy that the woman had to be a real 'you know what'!

I like to go there for three reasons- its an nice completion of a visit of the Frieder Burda Museum, they have good cakes and coffee as well as small dishes, the interior changes a lot and is always giving good ideas ( indeed- the furniture seems more like being an installation than just interior decoration) . Unfortunately the service is not so good.

A small restaurant beside a road junction so limited outdoor seating - two tables. Plenty of space indoors. Staff are extremely friendly and were very helpful in helping to choose from the menu - spoke good English Good selection of pizza and pasta dishes.Plenty of locals in the place - good sign. Food was quickly prepared and served with a friendly smile. It was delicious. Calzone pizza cooked to perfection - too often they are either over or underdone.. Tiramisu to follow was a dream. Non alcoholic drinks are available for drivers. Plenty of parking close by.

The Gran Caffè Italia in the heart of Baden-Baden is an original Italian Gelateria with numerous ice cream creations, waffles, coffee and cakes, and Italian delicacies, like the homemade tiramisu. But even baguettes, toast, breakfast variants etc. are off
Baden-Baden is a lovely town. It's what you would expect a German resort town would look like - kind of like Vail but without the corporate veneer. But like many resort town, everything is expensive. So when we found this wonderful little cafe nestled among the posh shops of Lange Strasse, we were surprised at how inexpensive the menu was. Gran Cafe Italia is not all that grand, and it is primarily a coffee and ice cream place. But they have a small menu of sandwiches and soups that work very well for lunch. A simple toasted of ham and cheese cost over 7 Euros a couple doors down. Here it was only 3 Euros. I had a wonderful baguette sandwich with Black Forest ham and brie for 4.5 Euros. A bargain, especially in such a beautiful setting as Baden-Baden. The cakes and tortes looked delicious and the ice cream creations were really outstanding. So if you are looking for a simple lunch while rubbing elbows with the jet set, check this place out.

Great place to go for a coffee and/or for a drink. Also one of the few bars in the area that sells really good Vermouth. The cappuccino was great and the location is also pretty good. The Flammkuchen they have looked delicious, I can imagine that in summer itâs is even going to be much better! I would definitely recommend this place

A smart cafe with classical paintings on the walls and fresh flowers. Room both inside and outside overlooking the rolling hills around Baden-Baden. A place to relax and enjoy tea or coffee and cakes.
