Family run garden centre in the heart of North Norfolk. Great value home-cooked food and cakes available made with local ingredients.Breakfast served 9-3 Monday to Saturday and 10-2.0 on a Sunday. Main meals served between 11.30-3 Monday to Saturday and 1
Lovely place, excellent service, nice ambience BUT whoever makes the scones desist!! Scones should not be crunchy on the outside,or claggy inside. It was only the addition of butter and jam that made them sort of ok!Pot of tea was great.Sorry to have to write this,as we love this garden centreânext time a slice of cake!! Or buy in the scones!!Hello. Many thanks for leaving a review. I'm glad you enjoy visiting here. I'm sorry you don't enjoy the scones here. We get many positive comments about them so hopefully it was just a bad batch. I will pass your comments onto the kitchen so we can try and improve them.Kind regardsBen Youngs

I called in for tea and a bite to eat having seen the cafe when passing previously.Service was OK but I was a little disappointed by the limited selection of cakes etc. Plenty of food choices including breakfast items, but fewer cold choices.More a cafe than a tea room.Prices good.

Having been up a little late and having skipped breakfast at around twelve the sun tempted us to go out. We were hungry and did not want to go far so All Things Nice in Cawston came to mind and in ten minutes we were sitting down looking through the menu. I decided to catch up on the skipped breakfast and ordered the large traditional breakfast basically two of everything but only one egg so I ordered an extra egg from the wide range of extras available and to the included fried bread another round. My wife ordered the burger and had my tea that was included with my breakfast and to save a few calories I had a Diet Coke. After only a short wait our food arrived exactly as ordered on hot plates and well presented. Served with a smile and asked if there was anything else we needed we said no and so began a delicious meal. My eggs were soft and sunny side up, the bacon was well cooked but not dried up or salty, delicious fresh tomatoes and open cap quartered mushrooms. The butchers sausages were firm and meaty the two rounds of thick cut white fried bread were to die for and the Heinz beans and tomato sauce rounded off a perfect meal. My wifeâs plate was also empty and having finished our drinks we were full. I can not praise this breakfast too highly and at under fifteen pounds a bargain.

We visited Heydon Tea Shop Sunday afternoon and was welcomed kindly by the lovely waitress, she was very attentive and made room for us to sit in the sun outside. The scones & tea were perfect! The Conservatory is a light , relaxing space where you can enjoy a cooked breakfast, lunch, coffee, tea and cake and of course afternoon tea.
Four of us visited The Conservatory and enjoyed a delicious evening meal. A good choice of freshly prepared main courses, desserts and starters were served by a friendly waitress. Relaxing atmosphere, lovely background music and a small corkage charge to bring your own alcohol. When they realized it was my husband's birthday they surprised him with chocolates, a candle and 'Happy Birthday' music - an appreciated gesture. The Conservatory is predominantly a cafe and is only very recently opening on Friday and Saturday evenings. We recommend trying this establishment for an evening meal.Thank you for your lovely review, am so glad you enjoyed your evening xx

Eccentric Tea Room and Bakery in the North Norfolk Town of Aylsham. Set in the market place next to the beautiful church we have seating on one floor with ramp access, a pretty courtyard. We have 3 dog friendly tables inside and all of the courtyard is do
Was bought a voucher for afternoon tea today as a present. When we arrived 5 mins early for our booking we were chastised by the young waitress for being early and told she had not yet got our table ready. On looking around there were at least 5 tables with dirty crockery on them. She sat us at a table with 2 cups, walked away and that was it - no explanation of what we would be having today etc.The restaurant was filthy, the menu book was all ripped, covered in food and drink stains and there were crumbs all over the table. We decided to move outside as it was very warm inside and were told we would have to pay up front to do that - so we reminded her that our bill had already been paid!We ordered and waited over 30 mins for a dry sandwich, heavy under cooked scone and dry cake. Yes the tea was nice. The waitress even messed up our order and forgot my husbands scone, even thought we were there for the set afternoon tea. There was one young girl doing all the serving, preparing teas and taking money. But there were at least 3 others in the kitchen having a lovely chat and leaving her to it, in fact they had to shut the kitchen back door when we sat outside as we could hear everything they were chatting about!Done even mention the toilets, dark, dirty etcSo sad as this was a present but not an experience we will ever be repeating.

Called in here after a longer than planned trip out. We were after a light snack and we were not dissapointed, varied menu, not just the small old boring sandwiches, hotpots, chilli pots, pies, all looked very appetising. Reasonably priced too.
