The Avon/Danville, Indiana area needed a coffee shop with a unique vibe and finally got one. While Cabin Coffee is a franchise, it doesn't feel that way. On a holiday Monday morning it was packed. They serve an abundance of expresso drinks, hot and cold, plus breakfast and lunch sandwich choices. They roast their coffee right on the premises and it's also for sale by the pound. Attractive seating options are available and there is a meeting room that can be reserved for free that could easily handle up to twenty or so at tables. The help was more than gracious and seemed to handle the big turnout well. The are open from 6am to 6pm weekdays, starting at 7 on Saturday. I do wonder if they will consider being open evenings for the student crowd during school months.

Really excited to find this place today. Every plate that was ordered was absolutely beautiful and delicious!! The staff kept our drinks full and made sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend!! The quiche, breakfast sandwich and fruit plates were excellent. Absolutely the best fruit plates Iâve ever seen at restaurants.

With a Sonic in Avon and a truck off of 36 in Btownsburg, why would the west side need another shaved ice place?? The short answer is- Frigid Frog will put ice cream in the bottom!!! This is a revolution in shaved ice. You might think I'm exaggerating but you really have to give it a try. Frigid Frog staff are friendly and helpful. They have a ton of flavors for the ice and you can get several different sizes. I love the Ocean Pacific. It combines blue raspberry, lemon, and vanilla syrups. So tasty! Stop by for a cool treat on a hot day. They also sell snacks like popcorn and cotton candy! Great place to take children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here! Our group of 7 waited about 15 minutes to be seated, and then we were taken upstairs to a second dining area better suited for large groups. The Andy Griffith Show plays on multiple tvs throughout the restaurant, and there is memorabilia available for purchase. We went on July 6th, National Fried Chicken Day, so I felt obligated to to order the Aunt Bea's Fried Chicken special! Three pieces of fried chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. Excellent! We also ordered appetizers of fried pickles, fried mac and cheese, and fried biscuits with apple butter. Service was wonderful and the price was right. Will come back for another visit!
