Stopped here for breakfast. They have indoor and lots of outdoor seating, and a nice breeze made for pleasant morning in August.I ordered the cinnamon roll french toast which I could have split easily with someone it was so much. Really good! it was smothered in butter and cream cheese icing drizzled on top, served with warm syrup. I also had a side of sausage. The rest of the family had a blue berry muffin, Denver omelette, hashbrowns, sour dough toast and fruit. Everything was tasty but the hashbrowns needed salt but were nicely browned. The bathroom was clean, the wait staff was friendly and checked on us frequently.Would definitely go back.

Newly refurbished, this charming, country location was like a getaway. With an incredibly large selection of teas and delicious house-made scones, tea sandwiches, soups, fresh fruits and all things high tea related, it is a treat for the taste buds. The signature house scone was served still warm from the oven with devon cream, lemon curd and jam. This followed a sophisticated first course of squash soup, followed by chicken salad, cucumber, egg salad and tomato-pesto tea sandwiches, all delicious and presented beautifully. The service was warm, hospitable and personal. This was all part of their high tea. There is plenty of free parking just next to the tea shoppe. They are currently open Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. We made reservations ahead and saw that this is strongly recommended, other than for walk-in tea, scone and fruit service. Just far enough away to be a change of scenery, just close enough to be very do-able. Charming!

Others may have had a satisfactory experience at this restaurant, but we did not. The $12 Cobb salad filled only half the bowl. They promised chicken bacon avocados and hard boiled egg were scarcely in evidence. We sent it back and ask them to take it off our bill. I am not the kind of person to do that but I feel it was required in this case. So then halfway through my Patty melt I discovered that there was no meat in the second half. Meanwhile the waitress mentioned that the problems with the food were endemic. The waitress took the cobb salad off the bill, and comped us a Blondie. A blondie is like a very small pizookie, and it was good. So, a 5-star rating for waitress Lisa and a 1-star rating for the restaurant.
