Although I worked in Munich I never really enjoyed the Bavarian specialties (particularly wild boar) and I'm not really a fish eater, so it was either pizzas or schnitzels. We opted for the chicken schnitzel ($29.50) and - honestly - one would have sufficed for us two adults! It practically covered the dinner plate, and concealed a small mound of beautifully crispy chips. The side salad was entirely wasted, I'm afraid, because the chicken was succulent, tender, moist and enhanced by the generous, fresh lemon slices they gave us. And to complement that meal a fine Pinot Grigio from Western Australia (a steep $40.00). The service Arthur (a French guy from Provence) gave us was friendly, utterly professional and welcoming. Merci beaucoup, Arthur!

Serving modern Australian cuisine with flavours from around the world, the place to relax and unwind, enjoying fresh food in an amazing beachside location with family and friends.
Excellent coffee, great friendly service. Wonderful location. My wife ordered an item from the menu. Zucchini and Corn fritters. They were extremely tasty and would recommend them without hesitation. On the other hand I ordered savoury mince with âhappy eggsâ off the specials board. The mince had an unusual undertone and one egg was beautifully cooked with a slightly runny yolk and the other medium and slightly overcooked for my taste. I wouldnât order that again. Prices were both a few dollars higher than expected for a similar meal in Sydney. Overall an average experience

LOT104 espresso & wine bar has it all! Beautiful leafy alfresco dining right on the Mooloolaba esplanade. Featuring a hip wine & cocktail bar, award-winning coffee, daily live music and delicious all-day menus including tapas and a la carte. We are dedica
We had eaten here 3 years prior and weren't impressed but thought time may improved food & service. Wrong! Waitress wasn't at all pleasant or friendly and gave the impression she was rushed off her feet. Well it's not our fault you haven't organised more staff. This establishment tries to give the impression of being fine dining not just another cafe on The Esplanade. They failed when toast came out unbuttered with the packaged butter on the plate waiting for me to do it myself. At least take the butter out of the packaging. Toast was extremely dry. Poached egg was barely runny. Bacon was extremely oily. Relish was good but tasted exactly like a brand I buy from the supermarket. Husband ordered salmon scrambled eggs thinking the salmon would be cooked in with the eggs, not as a side on the plate. Scrambled eggs had at least 15 whole capers in it and yet was bland. The hash browns were perfect. Needless to say with all the choices of eateries around we won't be back.

Table of six for breakfast. Beautiful view. Sat down and promptly told âwe donât split billsâ...so what are we all meant to do stand up apologise and then leave...of course we donât do that simply out of common decency so we stay and have breakfast and awkwardly try and arrange payment of the $130 dollar bill at the end of the meal. I pay for the lot because itâs simply easier and everyone then feels guilty and wants my banking details so they can pay me back. Of course I said not to worry about it. There are a heap of other nice cafes with the same view, so avoid the pain and go elsewhere

We had breakfast here 3 times and highly rated the food. Great gluten free options and good coffee. One staff member needed some personality but otherwise it is well worth a visit.

Breakfast options are varied and interesting. Decided on the house toaster. Wow it was amazing. Beautifully presented this toasted focaccia sandwich had ham. Tomato relish spinach mustard and other bits, this was delicious. The carrot cake cookie was the favorite of my guest. Coffee was just right. Best that I have had for some time.

Murray's Cafe is a family and dog friendly licensed cafe. We are open 7 days a week, 6.30am to 2.30pm. Locals and visitors are more than welcome to enjoy our little place. Our staff are happy to be here and we are happy to have them. Life is short, so I s
Came here for breakfast with family (five adults, two kids) and everyone left happy. Friendly service and well timed food (for a big group). Enjoyed my meal and the coffee - actually returned the next day for more coffee. Seems very popular with locals but no issues getting a table. That makes me so happy! We do this because we love it! Thanks for noticing

This is just a great spot for breakfast or lunch. The menu is extensive, well-priced and full of interesting options; you'll eat well and healthily here. We ended up here three times over our stay on the Sunshine Coast; it's clear that the locals prefer this to the options on the esplanade. Plenty of tables and good service. Recommended.

I visited here with a local friend. It was mid week about 11.45 am and we got a car park right out the front the of building." Unheard "of was my friends comment. It is apparently terribly busy at weekends and holidays. It is a quirky place. Share tables and smaller ones as well. Retro eclectic mix of decor. Some seating outside on the footpath. We choose inside as it was a bit breezy. The menu was ok. Retro names and themes. My friend and I decided we felt like a toasted sandwich. It had a cheese and double smoked ham "Grilled " toastie on the kids menu. On open presentation rather than a sandwich. Great! We asked the staff if as adults could we have them and the answer was of course no problem. Unfortunately when it arrived it was 2 big thick slices of bread with ham put on crossways with grated cheese... no sign of grilled or melted cheese on it! We asked the staff why it was not hot or melted on top... The answer was we don't have a Salamander....., in lay mans terms a grille to melt it on top!!! It was so disappointing, and very hard to eat. Taste well nothing special!! We had coffee to follow, again nothing to comment about. I enjoyed the time I spent with my friend, there was a couple of local celebrities that sat at the end of our table.. interestingly they got much quicker and better service than we did...Would I go back again?... well maybe. I wouldn't be interested in waiting for a table on a busy day though.

Yesterday we were fighting with our waitress (at The Boat Shed) and wondering why wait staff in this town seemed ill trained. We were wrong and the staff at Elliotts proved it. Our lunch (brunch, really) was grand and the wait staff were highly competent, delightfully pleasant without being pushy, and made our family lunch a real treat. Canât wait to go back, and meanwhile we highly recommend Elliotts.
