Enjoy a night of lively music in the plaza of this picturesque town or enjoy a stroll along the lakeside path. Visit the colorful Chapala handicrafts market, or relax and enjoy lunch and a beautiful view at the Beergarden restaurant by the pier. We stopped in for breakfast for our first morning here. Davids is reliable and inexpensive. We dont usually look for cheap eats, this is in between cheap and midrange. Davids is yummy and will keep you fueled for the day. Clean too. As an experienced traveler, this is important. BYW, no dogs wondering in as many other restaurants allow.

Situated on one of the major side streets (Encarnacion de Rosas) in Centro Ajijic, there is plenty of parking. Anyone who lives Lakeside knows just how important that can be.Logistics aside, C2 Lunchtime is a real gem.Its true that its a sandwich shop mostly (nice salads as well - our favorite is the spinach avocado strawberry salad pictured) but these are not just run of the mill sandwiches: sriracha turkey wraps, Cubans, pulled pork, corned beef, and many others including, yes, cheeseburgers.Plus an assortment of brewed teas and desserts and even root beer floats (free to men on men's day with meal purchase). There's a woman's day special as well. The food is excellent, the staff is nice and friendly, the decor is beautiful. A good place to have lunch.
