This place was on my checklist for long time, finally i visited it yesterday. Well the place opens from 7 pm to 10pm, has a limited food menu which is different everyday. The cafe is managed and run by all volunteers. There is no rate card and no questions asked on money paid. There was a different vibe to the place. Overall good experience. There's a small gift shop next to the restaurant. There were families who brought their children there to make them understand the place and values.overall nice place, nice concept and great people

Me and my cousin walked into this one of it's kind tea lounge at around 6 pm on a Saturday. The place was almost fully occupied with most young generation tea aficionados. The nearest available table was close to the wide football screen going on the third day of the FIFA World Cup. The guests were more interested in the talks rather than the football match. We took the seat close to the window and order for the cheapest tea (Classic- Double Serve costing Rs. 100/-). It was served in clean white cutlery made of bone china and added with Khakra (local thin bread of Gujarat). After looking at the menu items we ordered Paneer Tikka Sandwich and another suggested tea which was a mocktail of mint and ginger billed as Masala Chai. We chatted for over an hour and enjoyed the ambience, scene and the tea. A must visit place if you are planning to visit Ahmedabad. This tea lounge from Wagh Bakri Group (Est. 1892) is present in Mumbai, Goa, Delhi and Ahmedabad. Who knows it may open up in your city as well.

Upper Crust was known for it's cakes / bakes, however nowadays they have started junk foods too and specialty in a variety of sandwiches. I like their chocolate sandwich, can fill your tummy in a serve. Loaded with lots of chocolate syrup in multi-grain toast

Nice and cozy place. Freshly cooked vegan delicacies. Cashew cheese is something new and so is cashew chaas! Beet burger, falafel, thai green curry with brown rice, cassava chips, sweet potato vanilla soup, mushroom soup..... to name a few mouth watering dishes! Simple but innovative decor. The new cafe is off c g road near Sadar Patel Seva Samaj. It boasts of a coworking space on the top floor too!Though service and hospitality needs upgrading. Otherwise unique and enjoyable experience.
