This café looked to me like an ice cream and coke type of place, but I am so glad I tried the menu! They have some of the best kebabs in town. The kebab is actually four large local style sausages in pita, with salad and potatoes. The giros kebab is also excellent, all home made by his mum or mum in law...not sure which. The place is family run. The boss/waiter is extremely friendly and very chatty, genuinely happy to meet his customers. His wife also works and cooks there, and makes a lovely cherry pie.The food is very fresh and of high quality. In fact, I asked about the potatoes (which are the best I have had outside of Ireland)...turns out his brother grown them. The tomatoes are also family grown and distributed to the local restaurants. We found this place as ideal for lunch with a couple of Mythos beers. A real pleasure to eat there and very reasonably priced. Better quality/quantity and prices than some restaurants.I have seen some reviews of Cafeateria here which are so good that they have been accused of being false. I can assure you that this is a genuine review...look at my previous reviews and you will see that I am quite critical where necessary :)It can be found as you walk up the "main road" away from the beach, about 50 meters from the bus stop. It is on the right opposite the newspaper shop.We will definitely return one day soon!

We rented an umbrella and chairs from this beach bar, and before long a lovely young person came by with a menu. We ordered cocktails (the one with ouzo and spoon sweets was amazing!), as well as chocolate-drizzled loukoumades, which were life-changing. I grew up with loukoumades and these were BEYOND. Everyone really liked their cocktails, and the beachfront setting is gorgeous.

On the terrace of the historical "Ursulines School" building, in the castle of Naxos, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Naxos while having your coffee, drink or homemade snack and dessert.
Only wish we had found this place before.Good menu, reasonable prices, considering the location and viewing platform as well.On ordering we received free chilled water, attentive service by the young staff and excellent variety of fresh food. For those who have difficulty climbing the old town there is a lift.would certainly came again

My husband and I visited one night just for cocktails and were not overly impressed with Kitron. Firstly, the server was inattentive and distracted while taking care of us. No one acknowledged us for a long period of time, and then when she finally came over we asked her to recommend something. She started to describe the different colors of Kitron and trailed off while looking around distractedly. When we probed her for more clarification, she pretty much gave us a basic run down of 2 drinks that we should try, and we felt very confused with the menu and the options. We ended up ordering 2 drinks that tasted ok, but we just sat and drank them quietly, feeling a little off and like we missed out on the whole experience of trying such a great local liquor. We had to then make eye contact later to pay for our bill as she never came back to see if we wanted anything else. Granted, it was a busy night, however, we didn't feel terribly valued and it ruined the experience for sure for us. It was definitely not a highlight of our trip.

I went to this cafe to have a breakfast. I asked for a greek coffee (with my breakfast) but the lady who served me said they couldn t do it because they only had one gas for cooking..we were only two customers(!!) And really how much time you need to make a greek coffee ..3 min? Plus I ordered an orange juice additionally (that cost 3â¬) and they brought me the small glass of the breakfast's..other than that it was nice n tasty

Visited Cedar on Plaka. Excellent food- great menu with variety and flexibility. Really loved the blackened chicken with rice. Music can be a little loud for easy conversation but this is more than made to for by the hammocks!

We were searching for a place to watch the AFL semi finals and enquired Soulatso. The staff were very accommodating and they were genuinely interested in the outcome of our game. They made our game a priority, even when a crowd turned up to watch a soccer match, which we greatly appreciated. A relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Dropped in to this family run cafe for a Latte and a pastry. We have tried several cafes along the beach strip and this one has to take top marks for the best coffee. There is a great selection of home made pastries and cookies, baked fresh every day. The owners take a lot of pride in presenting the best cup of coffee in town. This is an efficiently run, perfectly maintained business.

Restaurant-bar on the beach with typical italian food, pasta, sandwiches and pizza. Beers, wines, cocktails and coffees.
Judging from the reviews we expected this place to be great. Especially so since it is owned by Italians. This is why we were surprised to see that they have frozen pizza dough. We tried it and it was really not that good. Far from it! The one thing that we can recommend is Tiramisu. So go for sweets and coffee, eat lunch somewhere else. Good evening Mr./Mrs Tijiana MLet's go to the point, it' is written on the menu' that the pizza it is frozen, it is your choice!Have a nice evening Mr/Mrs Tijiana M.
