I stumbled upon this place because I had seen the signs to it and decided to follow them. It's a gorgeous farmhouse with a daily changing menu. And for a very reasonable price you get a tremendous amount of freshly prepared Myanmar food - different regions each day. The owners are delightful and kind people. And I had an all vegan meal and that was no problem at all.... and I had just shown up. The farm itself is gorgeous too. This has to be a must when in Kalaw.Thank you very much for spending your precious time to review us. We would like to see you again when you visit Kalaw.for the next time.

I can highly recommend this little café at main road in Kalaw. I passed there accidentally and was so happy when I received the hospitality of the owner. The breakfast there was gorgeous: fresh made Avocado smoothie, omelette with bread, marmalade (no jam!) and green tea. It was more than valuable the price. If in Kalaw, take your time and have a seat at Y II K! The best start before trekking the hills.

I had dinner here tonight at the recommendation of my guide. I started with pumpkin soup which was quite nice so I was excited for the meal. Then my guide was served fish with lime, which turned out to be a sweet and sour lime sauce that tasted like Rose's Lime Juice. Nasty stuff. My guide is from Myanmar and she couldn't even eat it. Next an avocado salad appeared which was very nice. But finally my prawns in hot and sour sauce arrived ... I only had one bite because the smell of the prawns was so .... prawny! Lol. I mean so strong and unappetizing I had them remove the dish from the table. Sadly we were both very disappointed. I don't think I would risk another visit.

We have eaten so well and relaxed in Home Again. The best and affordable meal we have ever gotten in Kalaw. As all great work, food here takes time and carefully prepared. The experience was unexpected. We had a great lunch and beautiful experience eating here. It is peaceful and has an overlooking view of the hill and chirping birds. Full packed of nature goodness. So please do visit and experience it on your own.

My friend and I ordered the Shan noodles and a clay pot....both were nice. The Shan noodles were so delicious we ordered another portion, really tasty, hot and just the right amount of spice. No alcohol but didn’t matter and clearly a favorite with locals as we were the only westerners in at that time. Well worth it.

Also known as the Seven Sisters Restaurant. Listed in 2009 Lonely Planet guide for Myanmar, page 228.
The service was friendly and attentive, but we felt that the quality of the meal was average and the price was much higher than what we were accustomed to paying for a meal throughout our travels in Myanmar. Definitely caters to tourists only... no local patrons during our meal there.
