Popped in here early in the morning . The atmosphere was warm and inviting, very homely and clean. Food was probably the best Iâve had here in Wrexham . Bacon toastie cooked to perfection. Crisp and tasteful! Prices great and very friendly people! Will most definitely be returning regularly with all my friends and family !

The very good is about the young waitress who with her colleague anticipated what we needed . Food wise , although l loved the presentation , everything was rather overcooked and particularly the lamb roast and accompanying veg . Sure this will be resolved soon if enough of us again give this place a go after so many managements .

We visited on Friday evening. The place was full and buzzing, but the service was excellent and the meal was lovely. My wife and I both had the Steak suet pudding with vegetables. I asked for different vegetables to that shown on the menu, and this wasnât a problem. Great service.

We were staying under canvas locally, and when we saw the weather forecast, we asked if we could change our booking from Thursday to Friday. They managed to squeeze us in, and I was so pleased because the food was excellent. We had a lovely meal that we all enjoyed, and if we lived more locally, we would certainly visit again.

The Nag's Head in Wrexham is a traditional pub steeped in history, indeed the building itself dates back to 1661, and holds a great town centre location on Mount Street. Here at The Nag's Head you can always be sure of a friendly welcome! Our extensive pu
Well it was Monday and I fancied beer and food so it had to be the classics dishes in the Nags Head. After looking at the menu for ten minutes I decided to have what I had last time the Steak pie and chips and my girlfriend had the lasagne, the food came within 15 minutes the pie was excellent yet again and the lasagne which can be a bit of a let down in many pubs was excellent, all washed down with a couple of pints of stella. Will be back that is for sure.

We are situated on wrexham general railway station providing a service to traveling passengers and the local community, good food, great service by our friendly team, breakfast from £3 and lunch from £3.95.
Such a cosey and comfortable feel at lunch today . I had the liver and bacon with onion gravy , mash and peas . The liver was so tasty and tender which was not like my childhood school memories of and love but rarely make it myself , so a real treat . Very friendly staff , laid back soft music and great mix of china tea cups ! Fantastic value in a lovely environment ...

A great little place built inside a former bank building, great selection of drinks great staff, very friendly and knowledgable. A great little touch is the drinks cellar which is downstairs in one of the old vaults. A love little bar.

We are situated in the glorious village of Holt in Wrexham. Our Coffee Shop/Bistro offers a variety of delicious meals and drinks. We have a lovely outside seating area, A beer garden and plenty of room in the shop. Very warm and welcoming
My partner & I were passing through the area and stopped by here. Weâd only eaten a piece of toast each in the morning so we were very hungry. We ordered the toastie platter. I ordered a tuna mayo toastie brown bread & my partner ordered a chicken mayo sandwich brown bread [not toasted]. Our orders arrived in 20 mins, great portion sizes. Though my partners sandwich arrived on white bread, when sheâd ordered brown bread, we werenât going to make a fuss though. Even though my partner ordered a sandwich not toastie I found it odd that the chicken in her sandwich was warm along with cold mayonnaise smothered on the bread. Since we left she received terrible cramps and diarrhoea soon after. She has no allergies and as I said weâd only eaten toast earlier. My stomach also, not as bad as my partners but also giving me pains from the food poisoning. It ruined the perfect day that we were having.Good Morning Thebubba911,Thank you for your review. I am not sure how to respond to this review. Our toastie platter is a very popular one, and we served lots of them daily. We also serve lots of chicken mayo and tuna mayo too.We have not had any other complaints or notifications of other customers experiencing any sort of illness due to our food. It might be possible that you picked up a stomach bug along the way and it was unfortunate that it reacted after eating a meal with us. The reason I ask, is that food poisoning usually takes quite a while after ingesting the food to react, you say that your partner got cramps and diarrhoea soon after. We have double checked the cooking and preparation procedures of these dishes and can confirm that they comply to our level 5 food hygiene ratingHope you are both feeling better nowBest RegardsPhilippe Kalkwarfowner

Unfortunatly I was disappointed by the menu and although the servers were lovely and friendly the main meal was quite basic. It was served with a bland sauce over a piece of grilled chicken on a bed of slightly undercooked potatoes. There were no vegetables at all offered No Sunday lunch was on either of the menus I saw.Nice decor just needs a better menu and a more appetising presentation of the dishes.
