On a recent family visit we were disappointed by our experience here. The food wasn't great (the Ham & Cheese sandwich was mediocre, with poor quality cheese). The café itself wasn't particularly clean and tidy, the high chairs were not nice to use and many of the tables were awaiting cleaning. Not all the food options were available (which isn't a deal breaker but is annoying when you intend on ordering a salad that can't be served). Overall not somewhere I intend to return to.

The Bar & Grill plays host to all our family entertainment and is also the ideal location for a relaxed family meal offering a wide choice of starters, main courses, desserts and side orders. All food is freshly made and we regularly introduce new and exc
Visited in June/July 2019 with family. We were quickly seated in a nice booth beside the bar with a view of the children's entertainment area. Thankfully there's now a soundproof(ish) glass wall between the entertainment bit and the main restaurant seating, so we were able to have a conversation without shouting over the music. The food was nice, the drinks were good, the prices were reasonable. I can't fault it. In fact, I enjoyed the Cherry Bomb cocktail so much that I've bought the ingredients to make my own at home. You can feel the heartburn coming on as you drink it, but oh my, it's beautiful! It's not 'just' a family entertainment venue now, you can go and enjoy a nice meal or a drink without the blast of music from the other side, and I'm sure had my brother and I been 15 years younger, we'd have had a ball in the children's area!

Called on a saturday evening with friends. Had a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff and great value. Used the set menu (2 main courses and a bottle of wine for £29) Food was well cooked and had a good choice. Portions were very large and you wont go hungry. As a bonus there is an astounding Gin menu with dozens to chose from. Try Rigbys own gin, it has a beautiful chocolate aftertaste. Well worth a visit, we will be back for more.

Visited for lunch. Impressed with decor and ambience. For a midweek lunch I was surprised the amount of diners. On being shown to our table we actually waited 30 minutes until our drinks were served. Nothing special 1x water 1xcoke 3x tea, a long time in my opinion. However food orders taken which duly arrived. For the majority of meals costing £12-£14 on average for a pub itâs at the top end of the scale.Burgers come with fries and a small pot of coleslaw and cottage pie comes with a small pot of red cabbage. During the meal no one asked if all was well, no request to see if we required more drinks or on completion of eating our main course no request to see if we wanted a sweet !! Shame Hi weekender48Thank you for your review, it is much appreciated. We take on board your feedback and will pass onto the rest of the team.Kind regards,Sarah

Lytham is well served with Italian restaurants, but we just wanted a light lunch, and happily found this place. Clean, bright and busy but hey found us a table. Good variety on menu, pleasant staff, food well presented and reasonably priced. No hesitation in recommending.

Excellent food, great ambience, professional service. Informal dining space creating a very relaxed atmosphere yet very polished performance from the staff who knew a lot about the ingredients in their food and recommended wine to complement the food. So good, I've booked afternoon tea and a spa experience!

We wanted somewhere for lunch and chose Dizzy Ducks purely on the positive reviews, and we weren't disappointed. This is a modest little place, think the ground floor of a typical three bed semi with customer toilets (clean and fresh, with baby changing facilities), kitchen and the rest of the space given over to customer seating and counters. There is also some outside seating, but it was raining on the day we visited.Don't be put off by the modest shop front and environment though; this is a great little place with friendly staff, a tasty menu and delicious home-made food. The cakes looked amazing but we will just have to visit again for coffee and cake because, after a main course each, it would have been sheer gluttony to eat cake as well. The menu has sandwiches, baked potatoes, salads - the usual tearoom/cafe fare - and, yes, in line with some reviews, there is a little wait, but we never mind that because we feel it means that the food is being freshly prepared. My other half picked something off the daily specials board - an 'FLT' - fish finger, lettuce and tomato sandwich, whilst I had a grilled chicken and bacon salad - delicious - I must admit I found the croutons a tad difficult to pick up with a fork but, as my other half pointed out, it all adds texture.A great little place, good honest food and competitive prices - we had two main meals, a soft drink and a glass of water and paid just under £15. We left feeling we had eaten well and were full.Would love to go again.
