A warm and welcoming Cotswold village pub that is owned by its community. In 2012, 120 local people clubbed together to purchase and re-launch our only village pub, and since then The Fleece has gone from strength to strength. In October 2018 we will rece
Love the community ownership concept.Clearly a locals local, but âoutsidersâ obviously made to feel welcome.CAMRA recognition well deserved (see pic of range of beers available when we visited in early June â19)Fabulous range of food, nothing âponcyâ just well cooked grub at sensible prices.(3 of us ate and drunk for around £65)Will definitely return when next in the area to sample other beers.

A very local, traditional pub, unpretentious with exceptionally good food sourced locally
Now in the hands of its owners and recently refurbished at long last this is now a great little pub. Comfortable and cosy bar. Open fire. Professional landlady who knows her trade. Excellent cask ales and local ciders. Even a lager for those that want it. Shuts by 9:30pm apart from Saturdays - 10:30pm. Swearing not allowed. Regular clientele.

Only room for about a dozen people but well worth a visit. Great full English breakfast with a nice pot of tea and a great simple menu too. Waitress/cook very helpful. On the Cotswold Way too so would be an ideal place to stop for brunch or lunch. Highly recommended but not too good for close parking.

Always look forward to fish and chips when we are on holiday but to be honest I was a little disappointed. They had just opened so was expecting everything to taste really fresh but it was just average.

No doubt The White Horse have regular satisfied customers, but for me on this visit I did not enjoy the food, did I choose the wrong dish? maybe, pub needs a redecoration.Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to here that you did not enjoy your meal, we strive to offer excellent food every time. We have plenty of choice on our menu, it seems unfortunate that on this occasion you may chosen the wrong dish. We hope this does not put you off returning to us.If you could give us some more feedback that would be greatly appreciated. With regards to the decor, the pub is designed to look and feel like a country pub, with lots of historic photos of the towns and villages that surround us. The pub underwent a £1m refurbishment less than 5 years agos.

'The Old Spot Inn' is a traditional real ale pub located in Dursley on the gorgeous Cotswold Way. We like to think of it as a 365 day beer festival here with our 7 real ale pubs frequently changing, as well as the 3 still ciders we also have on offer. Hea
Lovely pub with nice beer garden. Nice drinks. I was sadly disappointed with the food. Had the fishfinger sandwich which was made with out the packet fishfingers (ie something like Birdseye). This is one of my favourite dishes and wherever I go itâs always homemade fishfingers. At £7.75 with no chips / crisps Either I thought it was well overpriced. I believe they only do food at lunchtimes.

This 17th century Hotel is situated in the beautiful and historic town of Wotton-Under-Edge. Next to a free public car park and only 10 minutes from the M5, stay with us and enjoy the stunning views of the Southern Cotswolds. The Swan has recently refurbi
This is the third time that we have stayed here - and it is certainly not a case of third time lucky, as each stay has been absolutely excellent. My husband and I always stay in the four-poster room, which we love, but the other rooms that I have seen are equally lovely. Some have also recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The food we had was also excellent and all freshly cooked. The breakfasts had an excellent variety of cereals and cooked items. They were delicious. We decided to eat in the hotel both evenings and were there for both the steak and burger nights. The quality of both meals was excellent and the value for money outstanding. We were very pleased to have decided to stay in to eat! The other thing I must say is that one of our party has a gluten intolerance and the knowledge of all staff as to what was available for her to eat was outstanding. The staff do deserve a very special mention, as the service we received was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. We have already booked our stay for next year and look forward to another super few days.
