, all our food is prepared & cooked to order from local fresh produce. We can cater for all your needs no party is to small or large .
We had a family meal here on 9th July to celebrate my husband's birthday. Six adults plus our 7 year old grand daughter. We had a variety of meals, which included minted lamb shank, steaks, scamp, mixed meat salad and everything was perfectly faultless. We hadn't visited Briery for about three years, even though we live on Moor Road, but we intend to visit again soon. There's no need to travel elsewhere when we have such a good establishment virtually on our doorstep. The staff were all extremely pleasent and the lady and gentleman who are running the place were lovely, they made us feel genuinely welcome There were certainly no negatives about our visit.

Called here for lunch having passed by the previous day. The staff were very welcoming and friendly - and during our visit they were very hard working. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious! After a starter and a main we had no room left for dessert. Will definitely return. Good Morning and thankyou for the lovely review, I will pass this onto our hardworking team and im sure they will appreciate this. We hope to see you again soon at The Galloping Horse.Kind RegardsColetteManager

Been many times before and always satisfied. Had the half chicken and home made chips - excellent! The wife had chicken strips with Stilton Sauce, her words âlovelyâ and yes you may have gathered she is from Workington! The two guys serving were both extremely attentive and friendly. Surprisingly busy for a Tuesday ! Free WiFi but slow.

Chef patron Warwick Muir opened Oily's in June 2008 since then it has carved out a reputation as one of Cumbria's premier eateries. The food is classic British with a few Mediterranean elements.

The Royal Yew welcomes you with a warm Cumbrian welcome. We have an extensive menu for lunch, evening meals and wine list and provide a children's menu and highchairs. We use the highest quality of local fresh produce, even stocking the local gin, vodka a
This place goes from strength to strength and menu changes regularly and most people will find something to try here. Pie looked gorgeous, Wagyu burger and dirty fries were great. Nice that they use locally sourced ingredients. They have a beer on tap brewed in Workington. Lovely place for a treat!

Had lunch on Easter sunday. We had forgotten what a pleasure it is to have Sunday lunch at a proper table in proper dining room ( as opposed to a pub). All good and going to make it a regular treat.
