Visited here with my son who has a restaurant but loves this place. My first visit and very impressed. I had dressed crab with bread and butter and have to say the crab was excellent and weâll presented, the bread was so soft and fresh it melted in my mouth. I will return with our friends who love fish so this is right up their street.

Recently visited to celebrate my friends' 60th Birthday... afternoon tea with her and her Mom.... there was only us and another couple in the orangery for the tea but it was absolutely lovely! Beautiful selection of sandwiches with tea and then gorgeous cakes and pastries and scones and cream! Lovely selection and good value, we really enjoyed it... the only think I would say is that they could have done with a little background music but other than that, perfect!

The Woodman is a gastro pub set in glorious countryside, specialising in the use of local produce. Fresh fish and shellfish feature on the menu too. You will also find a superb choice of wines and cask ales. In the summer months enjoy the lovely outdoor s
We all met at 7.00 pm having chosen from the menu beforehand which helped the kitchen with such a large party. We were welcomed warmly and the first course was served. My mussels were delicious and really large. The roast lamb was also chosen by several in our party and the portions were very generous. Most of us completed our meal with the raspberry and lemon posset. On the wall in the restaurant was a board showing the local suppliers for the meat, fish and vegetables and the person who makes the desserts. The restaurant is very well known since it is situated on the B4176 which is called by the locals as "the rabbit run".

A delightful Victorean inspired licensed tea room with a beautiful garden terrace and glorious views over the River Severn and Low Town. Serving light lunches, morning and afternoon tea seven days a week (Please note that we only use fresh ingredients del
Went in the Winding House Tea Rooms this morning, had a very nice bacon sandwich on lovely granary bread with a very good coffee. The service was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I decided to try a piece of the Lemon cake after and it was delicious! The terrace right next to the Cliff Railway is a real bonus, particularly on a gorgeous day like today. Overall iâd highly recommend The Winding House Tea Room.

Good, Home cooked Pub Grub.
Very quirky building loads of clocks of various styles decorate the place and quite a history when you read the back of the menu. Excellent choice on our part .We chose the baked potatoes, mine had loads of tasty Cheddar cheese and my husbands was full of prawns. The potatoes were obviously freshly cooked and stayed hot to the last mouthful. Enjoyable visit.

BamBoo Wine Bar is at 15 Bridge Street and has quickly become the friendliest bar in town. With it's close association with Tanners Wine Merchants and its daytime menu of simple homemade cooking an afternoon snack can soon turn into a glass or two of wine
I just wanted a light lunch, so chose an omelette. The service was second to none. The omelette was enormous accompanied by salad and coleslaw. I'm afraid I couldn't do it justice. I can't praise the waiter enough. Will definitely be making a return visit when I'm next in the area.

At The Stable Bar our ethos is to work with local and seasonal produce, ensuring the highest quality in our dishes and having a close relationship with all our suppliers. We are lucky enough to have our meat sourced from our local Bridgnorth butcher, Beam
We were in Bridgnorth for a one night stay and had been recommended here by our hotel manager. What a great recommendation it was! We loved the ambience of the courtyard bar for afternoon drinks and the inside bar was cosy and warm. We ate lunch here then came back in the evening and had an exceptional meal in the restaurant upstairs with first class service. There was a great feel about the place as it was busy and we would return if we ever visit Bridgnorth again.

Local pub
What a very pleasant pub this is. Cosy and welcoming are two words which come readily to mind. Good cooking, good food and fantastic value for money. The cheese board was one of the best I have experienced for ages. A joyful lunch. Highly recommended.

The light bite menu is NOT small and very good value. I had the pie and hubby had the lasagne. He was surprised that the helping seemed normal sized! Staff were attentive and nothing too much trouble.
