Arrived at 4.15 to be told the kitchen didnât open till 5.00. We asked if we would have time to order and eat before 6pm as the children needed to be at a dance lesson. We were told that food came out of the kitchen quickly and this wouldnât be a problem. We ordered food at 5pm, unfortunately they had allowed many other people to order food before the time they told us we could order and at 5.45 there was still no sign of any food. We had to cancel the order and take the children to buy a sandwich at the local coop.Hi Simondsvale,I'm very sorry to hear you couldn't wait for your food to arrive yesterday. We are positive that if you had sampled the food your review score would have increased, but as you say you didn't have time to do so. We take our customers satisfaction very seriously and I would love for you to get in touch so I can make up for this personally. Please email me directly at [email protected] and I will do everything I can to put this right for you. Once again I apologise for the wait for your food, and hope to speak to you soon.

Greens restaurant & bar is situated on the corner of the historic Wickham square. It is very easy to find and to park. The outside of the property looks traditional, well cared for and inviting. The inside is light & airy with a contemporary feel. Restful
First visit here. Lovely feel to the place and welcoming staff. Had a light lunch from the lunch menu - of which there were two. But the best feature this time of year is definitely the hidden garden. A lovely quiet spot out the back with tables dotted about giving customers privacy. Food was fab too! Will definitely return on further visits to the area.

A traditional British Pub, serving locally sourced foods at good prices. We have an excellent selection of Real Ales, Wines, Spirits and Lagers available.
Evening visit, several tables reserved but no problem getting seated.Meet with gusto by who we think is the landlady who checked up on us several times during the evening.Standard menu plus specials board. Nice selection with general prices c£12 for mains. Massive portions and could not finish our plates. Food well cooked and tasty.Restaurant area a little dark and could benefit from better lighting.Nice selection of beers and largers. Attentive service.Large car park to the side and disabled parking at the front. Very clean toilets.

Great fresh food cooked lovingly by our in house team, please call for reservations.
Managed to find a space amongst the 5 available at the rear of the pub. There is ample parking further along at the community centre. There is an entrance from the car park through an original alleyway, passed the beer garden, kitchen, eating area, snug and eventually into the small traditional bar area.Food menu is displayed on a chalkboard by the bar and is quite extensive for the size of the hostelry. This is a great example of a village pub with a jovial atmosphere from the locals. Bowls of freshly cooked roast potatoes circulated through the evening to encourage more drinking. It works too.

A vegan and gluten free restaurant focusing on local organic ingredients, thinking outside the box and being proud to be different.
Although not vegan, I went with a lady who is. Both our meals were exceptionally good. The girls who served us were delightful. My only gripe, was that I was soo cold. Despite it being hot outside, I became colder and colder while sitting to eat my meal. In fact I had to sit on my car for 10minutes in order to warm up before driving.Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us, we are so pleased to see you enjoyed your meal! In regards to it being a bit chilly, Iâm awfully sorry to hear that! Where we are situated in the mill which is a listed building, with running water directly underneath, itâs very hard to control the temperature. But it is something we shall endeavour to solve! Many thanks

After looking at the reviews here about the refurbishment we thought we would call in for a drink. When we arrived we had to wait to be served, when the young girl arrived there was no apology for keeping us waiting. We went to sit in the garden , what a disappointment , it was scruffy and dirty. The outside bar was closed but had two huge speakers blaring out music! What has happened to the lovely area it was with the previous owners? Not sure we will be back.

From the pre-dinner drinks to the port and the starters to the dessert, it was all absolutely delicious. Beautifully presented and really tasty. This is by far the best restaurant we have eaten in Southampton so no wonder its Botleys No 1.Hi wrongsideoffortyThank you so much for the lovely review and thank you for choosing to spend such a special occasion with us. Modern, English brasserie, using locally sourced produce and seasonal ingredients. Fine wine and local real ale.
Stopped for an early dinner, had the Burger and thrice cooked chips, the little one had the childrenâs chicken and chips. Burger was delightful, highly recommend! The chicken wasnât your typical breaded finger, a lovely, well cooked chicken fillet with crispy, thin fries. I will be returning.
