Gastro pub and restaurant located close to Uttoxeter in the quaint village of Kingstone. We serve a varied seasonal homemade menu using fresh local produce served 7 days a week.
Following the reopening we have been for breakfast /lunch/dinner and Sunday lunch. Emma and team are so dedicated to giving customers a memorable experience with food of top quality in a friendly cosy atmosphere with log burners and a warm welcome to all. What an asset for the village of Kingstone. Nothing is too much trouble. How lovely to have this pub just a few miles away from us in Hixon, giving the choice of breakfasts morning coffee or lunch/dinner. We will be back. Thank you to you all your efforts. See you soon.Hi JMMurrayThank you for taking the time to leave us a brilliant review. Come along to the Dapple Grey offering a great atmosphere, exceptional levels of service and quality food from our Two for One menu and Specials Board. You can also choose a delicious stonebaked pizza from our fantastic Pizza Kitchen, all the classics plu
This is the first time we have visited The Dapple Grey in eight years (sadly no relatives left in the area). There are plenty of tables both inside and out and a little play area if you have children. It is a find a table and order at the bar. The menu is very varied with something for everyone's taste and pocket. It is a 2 mains for 1 restaurant - so very good value. We tried the combination of garlic breads for a starter- 2 pieces of garlic bread, 2 pieces of cheesy garlic bread and 2 pieces of garlic bread with salsa ( bit too much salsa for my taste. The starter arrived promptly and was hot and tasty. For main I chose the scampi, chips and peas. A nice sized portion. Also hot and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. Quite a small car park but other parking nearby. Ladies facilities lovely and clean.Thank for the positive review it always brings a smile to our faces when we receive positive feedback and helps motivate our team to always perform. I shall pass your comments on to the rest of the team and I hope to see you again.Kind regards Tyler Jones Assistant Manager

Went to Bramshall Inn on Friday Nov 1st - hadn't been for 3months due to poor service and moderate food. However Hurrah!!! went last night order taken drinks brought to table and food served all within 20mins. Excellent food and staff very friendly. A new manager in place and lets hope he stays. Well done Bramshall I will be back sooner rather than later.

We chose this country pub for its rural location and were immediately welcomed by the bar staff as soon as we walked through the door.We both had the hunters chicken which was delicious and the portions were very generous. There is a good carpark with outdoor seating which is good for people with dogs.A super venue that I would recommend.

We only had coffee but it was very good. I asked for a weaker one and that was done no problem. We were able to get 3 cups from one cafetiere. The waitress who took our order was very friendly and welcoming. However the decor was very frilly and feminine and i guess some men would be put off at this. Fine if they only want to attract women. However we did enjoy the drinks.

The Dog and Partridge, Traditional Pub and Dining, in the delightful village of Marchington, Staffordshire. Fantastic food, drink and a superb relaxed atmosphere. The pub has a rich and colourful history dating back to the Georgian era, bursting with char
Four of us visited for en evening meal in late August 19. Good selection of well kept real ales and a good choice of wines. The beer was served with a thick creamy head; just how I like it. It was "Steak Night" and two of our party opted for steaks, which were described as excellent. The signature dish of Steak & Stilton Pie was on top form, full of tender, succulent meat. Excellent service from Margaret.

Saturday lunch with friends, and someone had recommended the Duncombe Arms. What a find. A lovely building, beautifully decorated. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The food was lovely. We mixed between brunch menu and lunch menu, resulting in odd combinations, but that didnât matter. Delicious. Highly recommended.

The Yeaveley Arms stands proud in the centre of the village of Yeaveley opposite the village church. Taken over by three local guys in August 2017 who aimed to bring the pub back to life after it being closed and left dormant for four years! Yeaveley Arms
This was our first time here. I have to say on a rainy day itâs a terrible journey to get here ,but thatâs no fault of the pub We were seated very quickly drinks order taken. We settled for the traditional Sunday Lunch. Although the place was not full we had to wait 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Now thereâs waiting and thereâs waiting ,I do feel this was a bit extreme, five minutes before the food arrived the waitress told us our food was on the wayThe meal was very good the beef tender the veg still had a bite. All in all a very pleasant atmosphere ,friendly staff just donât be in a hurry . Yes we would call again
