We love coming here for our breakfast, we always opt for the Packington breakfast really nice tasty, good ingredients, cooked well and nice presentation. Also the staff are friendly and welcoming, Karen the boss is lovely. Keep up the good work guys!So if your in Tamworth head for the Deanery opposite the large car park by the Police Station, if your not familiar with Tamworth. Used to come here a lot for our regular catchups but have been visiting other places. We decided to return and were very disappointed to find that you're now charged 75p extra for gluten free bread. It's not that much more expensive to buy so this smacks of profiteering. I'm not sure whether coeliac disease counts as a disability so they may be just the right side of the law but it's not very welcoming so we won't be back.The food was fine though and well presented.

Lovely location and a proper local, country pub. A level (or two above Gastro pub.) Great food cosy quirky split level dining room. Attentive staffs, although our server was young she could not have been more friendly and sociable without being intrusive. Intuitive is how I would describe her. They had an excellent blackboard specials menu with three fresh game options. I was spoilt for choice. My Spanish Colleague was so impressed he offered to pay the bill. Being gallant I let him.Thanks Kevin - thatâs great to hear & we look forward to seeing you again soon.

We came for s family meal on sunday to celebrate a birthday. We were greated by Lisa who was lovely, i explained that my daughter had an allergy to certain foods. I was extremely impressed that lisa took the time to reassure us that we could be catered for and went through our options on the menu. It was very busy, i was extremely impressed that we were checked on several times . The food was great we will be back.Once again s special mention to Lisa a credit to you .

Recentkly found out that the old Florascape had now become Grangewood Garden Centre so decided to give it a visit. Fabulous restaurant, even though we only had coffee and cake. Cake was fabulous, so fresh and good choices. I had a latte which came in a tall mug not a tall glass, much nicer somehow. Had a wander round the many cabins, which are rather different. Good display of plants and pots, and nothing with a silly price tag. had a look round the gift shop and found 2 items which are now in the back of the wardrobe for Christmas. Am going back again soon with another friend, only so I can try one of the other cakes!!! Staff are all really brilliant, welcoming and friendly.

Our son had the choice of anywhere for dinner and he picked Coreyâs. We went on a Wednesday evening and were able to get a great booth as soon as we walked in. Most booths were occupied as were a few other tables but there were plenty of staff and so we were served quickly when we went to order. The food came out quickly and was all hot. It was also delicious. The portions have become more generous than the last time we went approx 6 months ago. We were really impressed and felt value for money has improved. We had one happy birthday boy!

Always look forwarzd to visiting the Albert when we are in Tamworth,the staff are always friendly and the food is always great,this time we were very disappointed the lamb came in big chunks and tasted burnt,everything seemed dry.We didnât complain as we all have bad days but weâre hoping next time itâs back to normal, lamb roasted instead of chargrilled.

It was past 2:00 on Sunday (they close at 2:30) so I assumed the staff were thinking of going home. Far from it! 9 of us piled in and were given a warm welcome and the good news that everything on the menu was still available. A great variety of breakfasts were enjoyed and not once were we aware that we may have been on "overtime". Cosy and friendly - just what a good cafe should be like.
