I could tell you about the giant sized baked potatoes and generous toppings. I could tell you about the friendly staff, and how clean this place is and what good value it is. And, all of that would be true. But, simply the best thing about Robinsons is the generous mugs of real, proper, perfectly brewed tea, as good as I make at home. Seriously, it's worth a visit just for the tea. And the second cup is just as good as the first. Bravo, Robinsons. Thank you for a great visit on an otherwise miserable day. You kept us going, and kept our spirits up.

Coffeshop/Bistro.
Visited for an early Saturday lunch. I had tuna melt panini which was ok my partner had chicken salad sandwich which was beautiful. Tender chicken and plenty of it, not too much sauce and lots of salad. The coffee was outstanding. service was prompt and staff were attentive and polite. We will definitely visit again.

we visited for my birthday 5th sept inst i asked for lamb cooked medium which i got as i asked for, my mistake shouldve asked for med/well don or well done, so no complaints there, the meal in that case for both of us was good,,, however we could hardly speak to each other across our table due to the noise from other diners,, everyone seemed to be shouting and this put me off my visit ,,, to be fair the crown is spotlessly clean, the staff attentive and polite and the meal (apart from my own slip up) was quite good

Four of us ate here last night and we can't fault the experience. The restaurant is in a lovely old building which has been sympathetically decorated and furnished to provide a warm atmosphere. Service was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Menu choices were fairly limited, four options for each course, but covered all the bases of meat, fish and vegetarian (also gluten free). It's often better to do a few dishes really well than a lot of average ones!We enjoyed all our choices..chicken parfait, roast artichoke for starters ( the artichoke particularly good,) and Cheshire pork chop and mackerel for main. Dessert and coffee also excellent....and the wine list had some unusual and delicious wines.A great find, we will definitely be back.

We have visited Kash 22 three or four times since my initial review last August. Yesterday six friends & family attended to celebrate a birthday. We had food across the range from Sunday roast, burgers, and Mexican. Personally I had Sirloin steak which was excellent as was the accompanying salad etc. Below I repeat my review of 2018, comments of which still fully apply........ "If I was on holiday, and this was in the neighbourhood, I would eat & drink here every day ! Superb hostelry, the beer, ales and lager choice magnificent. The music themed decor likewise. Food is as good as we have experienced anywhere, restaurant or bar alike in a long time. Its a pub, not a top class restaurant....just better. Service was excellent, and owner/staff were the most friendly, welcoming I have ever encountered. My wife & I discussed our visit on route home and really couldn't find fault...we just waxed lyrical all the way home.Alas, not on our doorstep, but will return (hopefully) time and time again."

The Prospect Inn is a family run business, that serves quality food and fine ales, wines and beers. Situated in Weston Village with views stretching across the river Mersey. The Prospect is under new management as of September 2017.
went here with friends. worst meal and service ever had. they have a star rating of 5 . needs to be no more than 0.ttwo of us sent back. cold or not cooked properly. thick skin on mash potato. prawns warm. no sorry from the manager and run by kids. never again.Hi Karen,The issue in question was dealt with on the night a refund was given for the one meal that was complained about. We only received one complaint from the table and the meal was replaced after which all meals were then eaten. No reasoning was given for the meal that was sent back and management were on site but you did not request to speak to them.We feel that the complaint is not valid, if you would like to come in to speak to management then please feel free to pop along.

Read the reviews on Trip Adviser and decided to give this place a try- we were not disappointed! We both had John Middleton breakfasts and couldnât manage to eat everything! Beautifully cooked and very meaty sausages and the toast was the best ! We plan to come back soon for an evening meal and have already booked a Sunday Lunch to look forward to. Lovely staff and would definitely recommend.

Visited early doors Saturday 5th October with friends. Warm welcome on arrival, great table in the window, comprehensive drinks menu and the staff really looked after us. Lots of choice on the food menu. The starters were delicious and good size potions. In fact the Mixed Frito Seafood was enormous!!!! All four of us had a bit of everything on offer! The King Prawn Linguine with scallops was one of the tastiest I have eaten in a long time.Couldnât fault the place. Wonât hesitate to recommend but as I said we were there for 6pm and can only comment on our experience. We will definitely return . Well done all.
