Quality local and imported delicatessen and patisserie both to eat in and to take away. Enjoy a coffee and cake, or a small dish, cheeseboard/sharing platter accompanied by wine, beer, premium gin or soft drink. Open from 11am Tuesday through to Saturday,
We have been quite a few times now and always order the mixed platter of cheeses and meats sounds boring but every time we get one the cheeses and meats are different and the passion gone into choosing these products really shows plus the wine and gin selection is fantastic and very reasonably priced that combined with the friendly service itâs easily the best place to go in the area Keep it up weâll be back in a few weeks Iâm sureThanks so much for this lovely review Paul. Really happy that you enjoy coming to eat with us as much as we enjoy having you at Rose & Potter!

Hotel room was okay...ish... Bit dated and not clean.. Food was awful... Cardboard thick pastry and very little filling in the bread.. Some bar staff were really nice.. Others were rude beyond belief ! Breakfast was enjoyed until mould was noticed on the toast!! Also got a bad stomach.. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and won't be returning!

we phoned up and ordered several portions of large fish and chips and some sausage and chips for our dinner on nightshift. When they were picked up and arrived back on site the batter was still nice and crunchy the chips were a nice golden colour and not swimming in fat. we all really enjoyed them and cannot wait to sample them again. I think this will become a regular thing.Hi Ken..Thanks for the great review glad you enjoyed the food...always a pleasure...see you soon...

Excellent menu, good service, fab decor - especially the wall art - very tasteful, first class rest room facilities (always important imho). Will definitely visit again and happy to recommend. Good central yet quiet location.

Attended funeral reception held in the main dining room. Everything went off beautifully, ample and good quality food, nice bright room and friendly and helpful staff. Helped what could have been a sad occasion to be a glorious celebration of a much loved family members life.

Ate here to celebrate pending birthdayHadn't booked but got a table. The restaraunt was very busy and there was a birthday celebration where they played happy birthday so loudly you couldn't think.Service was good and staff were efficient. However the food was disappointing, daughters garlic mushrooms were swimming in grease and a salad starter was very watery.Salmon was small and not worth the money and a pasta dish was soggy and either well over heated or over cooked, very little taste.Did tell the waitress who apologised but no compensationHave eaten here before and has been ok so assuming good it was because it was busy but that's not really and excuse.

Gorgeous tea room with friendly professional owners. Just been to my sister in law's baby shower and it was perfect. Beautiful homemade afternoon tea. Was plentiful ! China was beautiful and room decorated beautifully by her friends. The service was brilliant lots of choice and very polite checking tea was refilled and everyone had what they needed. Would definitely recommend for a function or if you want a friend's catch up. Thanks for a lovely first time experience .

Went to Olivers Restaurant a few weeks ago with a couple of friends. It was very busy but managed to get a table upstairs. Our food took a little time to come but this was because it was cooked fresh. Best haddock in Redcar in my opinion and this is a great little place to stop for lunch if you are out shopping or whatever else. As for the fish and chips - the best around!!Dear Stratman1944,Thank you so much for your time in writing such a lovely review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your visit. Our apologies there appeared to be a little waiting time for when your food arrived, I presume we were busy based on the fact you were seated upstairs. So pleased you enjoyed the Haddock - see you again next time you visit.Kindest regards,Helen Roberts - Owner/ Oliver's Mammy
