We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Great menu with plenty choices for all tastes. I had lovely roast beef and trimmings, followed by Sherry trifle. All freshly made. Friendly service and good value. Recommended.

This dog friendly cafe at the heart of Pickering serves delicious decaff coffee (Other coffees are available) :) and delicious lunches. We love to call in for a coffee and the food never disappoints. The varied menu also includes Gluten free options.

Family run, traditional English Tea Rooms offering light bites. Sandwiches, Cream Tea, Afternoon Tea, hot & cold drinks. We also have a bakery shop selling items made in our Whitby bakery.
Last weekend we went to Pickering for 1940s annual event. Bothams have been doing some improvements over the winter and now have more seating upstairs and more toilets. The food hasn't changed much as it's always been brilliant and tasty and still is.We recommend any of the the pies and the best vanilla slice anywhere in the UK in our view. Thick custard and tasty icing with lovely puff pastry.Bothams have lots of tea choices which enhances the experience. Last time there I heard people saying it's too expensive. However as many said this weekend the quality is worth the money.

An evening with friends; the pub and restaurant were busy when we arrived on a weekday early evening, so advisable to book. Food excellent, a little delay in service due to influx of dinners, however the complimentary bread & olives was a nice gesture. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. A lovely dining atmosphere in the bar area. Highly recommended.

Whenever we are in Pickering, we always go to the Willowgate for dinner and it never disappoints. These days we go with a toddler in tow and eat early. The childrenâs food comes quickly and is lovely, with the chicken pasta being a particular favourite. We canât wait to visit again!

I have dale head farm shepherds hut as well but cant bring it up on the system but keep getting enquiries about it? How do I locate it please
We have been calling at Maggie's excellent tea garden for many years after Rosedale Show, usually via a splendid walk up there, though some of your party do drive up. Even with Maggie away on a run this weekend, the food we had was great again, plenty of it and capped our great weekend.

Our aim is to recreate the traditional atmosphere of the tea room and tea parlours of the early twentieth century. China and silverware have been obtained from variety of sources, and although some date from as early as the 1850's, the majority were produ
