The decent sized and clean fish and chip is handily placed in the town centre. When I ordered there was a steady turn over if customers and five staff to serve them. Two pounds is the most I've ever paid for a medium portion of chips as too, the £2.50 for a spring roll....but.......both were of good size, well cooked and tasty. A decent, clean and well decorated outlet.

Visited Knighton today on business and myself and colleague decided to stop here for a quick bite and something to drink. I had a tuna melt and my colleague had a jacket potato. When we arrived the portion size was quite large. The Panini was very tasty and the side salad was very tasty. The tea rooms are very nicely decorated however the price of their meals are a little expensive ve to say the least. Not worth the eating in price.
We are a friendly, contemporary coffee house, sourcing and producing the best local produce.
Came here today with extended family and they were great at accommodating us all, including the dog and babies! The coffee was really good and so was the cakes. My daughter loved brownie and I enjoyed a fruit and nut flapjack. Toasted tea cakes went down well too! Good service as well. Would go back if in the area again.

Ye Olde Tavern is a Grade II listed public house. It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. It was built in the late 18th/early 19th century. Traditional old fashioned pub.
I couldn't eat here - too early in the week - but I heartily recommend a drop of real ale (and conversation with the locals...) in this CAMRA-recognised pub just off the A44. The closest equivalent back at home closed after the death of the elderly landlord, so this was a moment to treasure. Catch'em while you can.

A bit disappointed after reading many of the positive reviews. No vegan option on the menu but they did kindly offer an alternative, though unfortunately it wasnât great and was a very small portion. Also, the staff were dressed so casually I couldnât even tell if they worked there so a little confusing.

A warm welcome, beautiful setting, great food and excellent service. We went for dinner on Saturday and lunch on Mothers Day, and even if there had not been variations to the menu it would still have offered variety. Great food, gorgeous presentation and ample portions! Only sorry I'm going back to France !

An unexpected family lunch which was taken at the lovely old coaching inn in Kington. Run by Fred and Sadie Hawkins we had a lovely meal there which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Pleasant atmosphere and great service. We have eaten here before and will do so again in the near future.

This was my 2nd visit to this lovely restaurant which overlooks the most beautiful Penrhos Court. I had lunch with 2 friends. 2 of us selected the burgers with a side order of fries with parmesan and truffle oil while our friend had the scampi. The portions were very generous and the burgers were excellent. Desserts were all good too. Service was outstanding.Highly recommended but for me, I hope the reference to Brexit on the counter is missing for my next visit!
