First time visiting The Harbour Inn, was not disappointed. The menu was extensive and suited all tastes and ages. The food came quickly served hot and very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is my nearest chippy, and the food is really good. Best Haddock I've had and you get so many chips, the birds end up having them as well.Wife has a spring roll and she says its very tasty, this time I had a couple of fish cakes, my mistake as they are huge. No complaints from me.

The Shed Cafe arrived at Henstead in February, 2014. Known now for our homemade cakes using locally sourced ingredients, delicious lunch menu and quality drinks.
Stopped here first time ever! From now on it will be on our place to stop when travelling this way in future,we had poached eggs on toast and beans on toast, and pot of tea it was delicious! The place was decorated superb the toilets were very clean ,the two girls were friendly and they had a full English if wanted and meals for dinner ,hopefully next time we stop it will be dinner time!please don't take our word try it ! There was a gym round the back an artist studio selling one off designed birthday cards etc ,a place what sold doll house pieces anothe place selling old antiques, and many more places to look at it,it is a mini place so please don't expect a full village it isn't! Anyway who ever owns this land well done for a great venue and a great idea! Good health to all

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Jack, Paul and their team welcome you to try our new delicious daily menu and Sunday carvery. Get in touch to book a table, we look forward to being of service!
Went for Sunday lunch didnât leave feeling satisfied. The staff were friendly the meat and vegetables were ok but it was more like a pulled beef and pork lunch than a Sunday roast. I would expect slices of meat in my plate there was no skin or crackling. I ask for seconds but was informed that only vegetables were allowed. Iâm not very big but I could have eaten the same again. Just the same I did leave a tip for the table staff because they were friendly and not responsible for the food on my plate. Wonât return and wonât recommend if you have a healthy appetite and like meat.

We always visit here when in Pakefield and have the chicken and chips. We were a bit put out that the price had increased since last year, but it was still plentiful and tasty. There is a good selection of ales. I drank the Adnams Ghost Ship, which was very good. It does get very noisy inside the pub - very busy - so we sat outside. Worth visiting.

My wife and I always go here on a Tuesday night, when in the area. The all you can eat buffet is superb - lasagne, casserole, beef chimichurro(?) - all brilliant, and a snip at £8.50 including dessert. There are some superb ales on: Trawlerman, Adnams etc.. The staff are friendly and the pub has a lo vely warm buzz to it. Heaven!

Called in on Thursday teatime on a stroll around the village, usually go to the other chippy nearby but wanted to try this one, on approaching the door bewildered customers were everywhere as there was no kind of ordering system so some folks had ordered, some had not, some had paid & others hadnât, just give out a ticket with a number on it as we stood outside with no idea whoâs food was whoâs.... simple, when we got our 2x cod n chips they were excellent & we thoroughly enjoyed them, will go again.

We had a fabulous meal in this restaurant. We ordered the meze board to share followed by grilled plaice with new potatoes and roasted skate with chips. Such generous portions and beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are all friendly and very efficient. It is only a small restaurant so book ahead if you donât want to be disappointed.
